To train the students how to find the conjunction. To get the students to know how to write a letter. What things are difficult for you?S1: I cant pronounce some of the words.T: What about you?S2: I cant understand spoken English.S3:.T: Different students have different difficulties. Do you want to know how to learn English? Now lets learn 3a.(设计意图:通过复习上节课的内容,使学生自然而然地进入新课的学习。)Step 1.Fast reading Task : Read the article for the first time and find the conjunctions.T: Read the text the first time and circle all the signal words, or the linking words which connect all the short sentences. Ss: first of all, to begin with ,later on, also, either, so, then.(设计意图:初次感知文本,寻找连接词)Step 2 : Careful reading:Task 1:Write “T” (for true) or “F”(for false)according to the article.T: Now you read the statements in the box on page 6 following the text. Write“ T”(for true) or “F”(for false) beside each statement.The writer found learning English difficult because(F)1. the teachers pronunciation was poor.(T)2. she had trouble making complete sentences.(T)3.
