You should say: where you went why you went there what happened and explain why you remember it so well. I remember a trip I once made to my grandmother s house. She would live about 30 kilometres away from us and we used to going there quite often with our mother. On this occasion we set off to my grandmothers after school on a cold winters day. When we were about to leave we were noticing that some snow was beginning to fall, and as we were driving along we were realising that it snowed more and more heavily. Suddenly we had to brake hard as the car in front stopped suddenly. We were skidding and went off the road into a ditch! It was pretty scary, but we were lucky and none of us were hurt. We got out of the car, and my mother was phoning for help on her mobile phone. While we were waiting for help it was stopping snowing and we sang lots of songs to keep ourselves cheerful. Eventually the truck was coming and pulled our car out of the ditch. The car wasnt badly damaged, but we decided to turn around and go home. We didnt manage to see our grandmother that day, but it was so frightening that I will never forget it. Last summer I had a very nice holiday with my parents in Sanya, Hainan Province. It is a very famous coastal city in the southern part of China. The place is very beautiful, and each year thousands of tourists spend their holidays there. We spent four whole days in Sanya. We spent our time visiting tourist sites along the coastal sea. The blue sky, navy sea, white beaches, my eyes are filled with beautiful landscapes. My parents and I also took the golden chance to swim and enjoyed the sunbathing on the comfortable beach. One more thing worth mentioning is that I also tried scuba diving there. It was so fascinating. I swam very close to the coral beds and beautiful fishes swam beside me elegantly. Never shall I forget such a unique experience. Well, of course, they did cost me a lot. Apart from seeing sceneries, we also had many delicious sea foods like lobster, crab, oyster and so on. Even today, I can still clearly remember the feast I enjoyed in Sanya. For four years, because my parents and I had always been busy about our own business, our family hasnt had a chance to spend such a nice holiday together. Thats why this trip to Sanya has been a very exciting one for me. Ill always treasure this long-distance trip as my best memory.
