一节英语教学比武课的启示2011年英语科国培学员 刘晓琴 指导教师 章静摘要：本文记录并点评了作者在武汉国培做“影子教师”期间观到的一节较为成功的英语教学比武课，从以下几个方面总结出了在新课程标准下本节课值得借鉴的几个地方：英语课堂教学中要充分体现教师的主导作用和学生的主体性地位；教学要新颖、灵活、巧妙；教学效果要富有实效性。关键词：英语课堂教学，成功的比武课，启示， 背景介绍：这是一节武汉某区成功的教学比武课。授课教师是一个有三年教学经验的男教师王晓江老师。课在一个大多媒体教室进行，前6排座位坐学生，后面有听课评委和各校听课教师。上课内容是新目标人教版八年级上册的Unit 12 Whats the best radio station?.王老师的课排在下午第二节。听了大半天课，听课教师都有点累。（以下称王老师为 Mr. Wang, 学生们简称Ss.）课堂实录：Step 1 Warming up and leading in 1. Class greetings.Mr. Wang: Good afternoon, class. Im Mr. Wang. Im very glad to meet you.2. Leading in. a. Mr. Wang: Now I want to know whose Chinese is good in our class.Then Ss tell the students name. Mr. Wang asks the student to stand up and knows the student. Next, he asks another two questions: Whose math is good? Whose English is good? And he gets the two students to stand up. b. Mr. Wang gets the students to compare the students: Whose ChinesemathEnglish is the best. c. Mr. Wang asks Ss what they usually do on weekends for fun. Some students say they do homework, some say they watch TV, some say they play computer games. Mr. Wang says, “I like playing computer games, too. Maybe we can play together. And for me, I usually watch movies for fun. Mr. Wang asks where they can watch movies. Then he presents the words movie theater and cinema. Next, he shows three cartoon pictures and three names of movie theaters. They are Town Cinema（TC）, Movie Palace（MP）, and Screen City（SC）, which are from 1b. Finally, he gets Ss to drill the three names.2. Mr. Wang presents 6 adjectives and the forms of the comparative degree and the superlative degree with pictures, diagram forms, ticket prices, oral language and body language describing. And he focuses on the 6 adjectives and the forms of the comparative degree and the superlative degree. He gets Ss to read the words and the sentences with the words. Finally, he asks the students to read the following 6 sentences together: Town Cinema is the closest. Town Cinema is the cheapest. Screen City is the most popular. Screen City has the biggest screens. Movie Palace has the most comfortable seats. Town Cinema has the friendliest service. 点评：王老师围绕1b的教学内容用学生喜欢的卡通图来呈现1b里出现的电影名称，并用括号括出它的简写形式，为后面的听力做铺垫也降低听力的难度。他在呈现一些形容词以及它们的比较级和最高级时，充分运用各种方式让学生去感知，体验和参与：用幻灯片图示呈现close, closer, the closest; 用不同的电影票价呈现 cheap, cheaper, the cheapest;用不同人数的图片呈现 popular, more popular, the most popular;用自己的语言，行动和不同种类的实物凳子来呈现 comfortable, more comfortable, the most comfortable;用语言和动作呈现friendly， friendlier, the friendliest。他的呈现让在场的学生，老师和评委都情不自禁的笑出声来，并积极的参与到他的教学安排中,这些形容词就这样深深的进入了听者的大脑里。Step 3 Game 1 This is a test more than a game. (New Years Eve)点评： 在选幸运数字的活动中，学生们都纷纷举起他们的小手，课堂气氛热烈，笑声连连，课堂再次掀起了高潮。老师和评委们也被这个活动吸引了，也加入到这个活动中来。通过这种游戏提问的方式来巩固所学语言语法知识，丰富了学生的大脑，开阔了学生的视野，拓展了学生的知识面，激励学生向更高更宽的知识面攀登。启示笔者有幸成为了2011年国培计划中受训教师中的一员。在这次国培计划中，我亲耳聆听了刘文渊、李志坤等专家教授的理论讲解，经受了武汉十二中章静等老师的教学实践指导，体验并感受了王晓江等老师的优秀课堂教学。作为一名一线的英语教师，我多年来一直致力于有效课堂的摸索，笔者认为王老师这节课是一节很有实效性的课。下面是笔者研究以上教学个案，从以下几个方面谈谈王老师的这节课是如何实施有效的课堂教学： 1突出教师的主导作用和学生的主体性地位 。 王老师的教学设计和授课过程突出体现了教师主导作用和学生主体性地位。 教师的主导作用。王老师的主导性体现在一是主导教学内容、教学的重点和难点、设计教学过程和教学活动；二是帮助学生学习和指导学生进行自主学习。王老师娴熟自如地驾驭课堂，以平等的身份表演，和学生交谈，指导了整个教学活动。首先，王老师自然导入，直接切题。他用Whose Chinese is good in our class? Whose English is the best? 类似的问题激发了学生想做好并乐于与老师交流的学习动机，也自然地引出了本课相关的教学内容，接着问学生What do you usually do on weekends for fun? 由watch movies cinemastarget language( Town Cinema is the closest. Town Cinema has the friendliest service.)Game 1 (巩固核心句型 Town Cinema is the closest. Town Cinema has the friendliest service.和所学形容词的比较级和最高级)Listening practice巩固运用 （出示表格提供不同电影院的名称和各自特点，让学生做pair work 运用巩固所学知识）Game 2 ( 本节课的高潮，拓展巩固所学语言) 在整个教学过程中，王老师在学生中走动，了解学生的学习情况，和学生交流，指导学生。 总之，他始终是一个教学的引导者，参与者，活动的指导者，学生学习的促进者！学生的主体性地位。本节课中，王老师充分的从学生的学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发，让学生去体验，学生们都积极主动地参与。他使学生成为了学习的主体。王老师通过问Whose Chinese is good? Whose English is the best? 激发了学生想展示自我、表现自我的欲望，顺利进入本节课的主题内容。然后出示学生所感兴趣的熟知的电影Mr. Beans Holiday, Harry Potter and Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf，学生自主地进入了下一步新内容的学习。 在学生轻松的认知所学新知识后，接着进行了听力训练。 学生通过听、写、读更进一步感知了语言材料，加深了对所学知识的理解，也增加了学生的学习信心。在巩固运用部分，王老师出示了表格信息，让两人一组讨论选择自己喜欢的电影院并给出理由（Wanda Cinema is the best movie theater. It is the closest to my home. It has the most comfortable seats.）此刻学生发自内心的作出了自己的选择，真正地做到让学生做了自主学习并学以致用。最后通过游戏让学生有强烈展示自我、表达自我的欲望，真正体现了在“用中学，学了就用”的原则。这节课真正地让学生在学习的过程中感受了学习的快乐，在使用过程中体验了成功的感受。本节课之所以成功，主要是因为王老师很好地主导了本节课，并让学生成为了学习的主体。2教学新颖、巧妙、灵活。 王老师所用的卡通图片漂亮新颖，非常吸引观者的眼球。Game 的活动设计也新颖。王老师充分运用现代电视媒体常用的、学生喜闻乐见的“Lucky number”,让学生选择一个数字，屏幕上就会相应的出现几道题，而这几道题就是紧扣了呈现的新内容，操练巩固了新内容。王老师的教学有4个巧妙之处。一巧是教材取舍的巧。王老师为了突破难点、强化重点，他大胆地舍去了1a部分。二是突破难点巧。王老师为听力材料中可能产生障碍的3个电影院名称（Town Cinema（TC）, Movie Palace（MP）, Screen City（SC）特制了3幅新颖的卡通图片来呈现它们，并教学生如何速记，对他们后面的听力填表有很大的帮助。三是呈现巧妙。王老师给学生提供了一个情景来呈现friendly-friendlier-the friendliest: You and your parents are waiting your food at the table. Now, Im the waiter. Im serving the dish.为了让学生理解friendly,他装出右手托着一盘食物的样子。第一次，他板起一副脸孔，用不耐烦的冷冰冰的语气说：This is your food. 然后问学生：Do you like this waiter?
