Im really worried about her. 我真的很担心她。 be worried about 担心 Are you worried about your children? 5. 原因状语从句(1)because用来回答why 的问题,语气最强一般放在主句之后I came back late yesterday because I was on duty.昨天我回来晚了,因为我值班。(2)since表示既然或全已知的理由,稍加分析即可表明的原因,多放句首Since everyone is here, lets begin our meeting.既然大家都到了,我们开始开会。(3)as从句常放在句首,说明原因,主句说明结果,常用于口语中。As he didnt know much English, he looked up the word in the dictionary.由于他英语懂得不多,他在字典中查阅这个单词。(4)seeing (that), now that 和since, as 意义相似,他们都有“鉴于某个事实”的意思,that可以省去。Now(that) the weather has cleared up,we can start our journey.鉴于天气已经晴朗,我们可以启程了。Seeing (that) he was badly ill, we sent for the doctor.鉴于他病情严重,我们派人去请医生去了。四随堂练习I. 用所给单词的适当形式填空。 1. It is normal to feel sad when something bad happens to us. (1) It is + adj.+to do sth. 是不定式做定语的句型. It 形式主语, 真正的主语是to do sth. (2) 形容词修饰不定代词时, 放在被修饰的不定代词后面 something different, nothing wrong (3) happen to意思为“发生, 遇见”, 若指发生了什么事情, 主语应是物。 happen to sb. /sth. Whats happening to your car?4 随堂练习情景交际根据对话情景选择恰当的选项, 其中有两项是多余的。A. He no longer stays in his room by himself. by oneself 单独, 独自She was singing by herself. 4. 原因状语从句表示原因或理由,其所用的关联词有because,since,as等。请仔细观察下面的例句,然后补全结论部分所缺的内容。【例句】A. I seldom eat potatoes because I dont like them.B. Why does she feel lonely? Because she has no friends here.C. Since everyone is here, lets go.D. Since you wont help me, Ill ask someone else.E. As all the seats were full, we had to stand there.F. As I didnt know the way, I asked a driver.【结论】1. because可用来回答以_开头的特殊疑问句,可表示已知或未知的事实。在含有原因状语从句的复合句中, because和 so_(能 / 不能)同时出现。2. since常表示对方_(已知 / 未知)的事实,相当于汉语中的“既然”。3. as比较口语化,所表示的原因比较明显,多为已知的
