Dear Professor Sun:Many thanks for your reply and its my great honor to have a chance to introduce myself detailedly. Here, my statement is mainly from these aspects: 1) personal basic information; 2) my hometown; 3) study experience; 4) my hobby and 5) why to take postgraduate examination, respectively. Personal basic information: My name is #, 22 years old, was born in a sweet family. There are four members in my home where my father is rural teacher and my mother is a hardworking worker, respectively, and young sister is reading in grade nine. Im very grateful that I was growth in such family, partly because my austere father and loving mother influence me so deeply. In spare time I always take responsibility of our housework for that it could reduce the burden on parents and whats more I could learn many from it. For example, while I teaching my young sisters lessons, I turned to be more patience and know how to communicate with others effectively. Im better at cooking, I wish there will be a chance that let me show it to you. Therefore, Im able to grow into an independent, brave, optimistic, girl. Lastly I must show my best grateful to my parents for what they have done to me and their continued support. My hometown:My hometown is Xiangyang, a beautiful city in Hubei province. Xiangyang is a national historical and cultural city where with 2800 years history and endowed with the birthplace of Jing Chu Culture as well as title of the source of the Three Kingdoms Culture. There are many scenic spots, including the first wide moat where billed as the First City of HuaXia , the ancient LongZhong (Zhu Geliangs former residence) where my university is located at the foot of the mountain. Xiangyang is very beautiful city that worth to have a journey. And I deeply hope that Ill gain an opportunity to be a guide for your group sometimes in future. My study experience:During four yearsstudy in Hubei University of Arts and Science, I harvest a lot, not only grasp the solid specialized theory knowledge, but also improve my practice ability. When I was in freshman year, I had decided to get a master degree, and then strive to do my best in all subjects. Every year I am in progress, while I was freshman I could rank 8th and in junior semester it ranked top 2 (there are 44 members in my class) and I have passed CET4 and CET6. Since sophomore year, Ive got the scholarships and Miyoshi Outstanding Student every year. In addition, I serve as a secretary in the class, and worked as a school newspaper editorial department minister in student union where I won the title of excellent student cadres for my devotion to the services to the teachers and students. These experiences benefit me so much for working as student cadres has endowed me with a relatively strong team collaboration capability, high responsibility, and communication ability.My hobby:I am a lively and quiet girl. After school time, I like listening music, reading book and taking notes. Whats more, I accustomed to carry a pen and a notebook, so that I can write down my thoughts and feeling at any time. Thanks to my father, I have formed the habit that keeps writing diary, almost insist to eight years. I have benefited lots from it, such as it can remind me what I should do and more than that is clear my goal. In my spare time I also do some sports, for example I like running, playing badminton and table tennis, so during the time of preparing postgraduate examination, it could ensure me a good health.Why I take postgraduate examination?I take postgraduate examination for following reasons: Firstly, I love my major and hope to be able to apply my major to practice, however, what I have learnt now is not enough to complete it, so I desire for further study. Secondly, I have many interests for research, and I know that you have done great jobs in solar cell, so it will be a great honor if I could get a chance to study in your group. Lastly, Suzhou University is a beautiful camp that I always dream for. Whats more, FUNSOM is an institute that has a remarkable, well-organizedand highly-internationalizedfaculty.
