新目标英语七年级下册第六单元Unit 6 Its raining第一课时说课稿说教材本单元的中心话题是谈论天气,整个单元的内容围绕天气展开听说读写活动并通过本单元的学习使学生掌握描写天气方面的基本词汇及学会对天气的提问.说教学目标语言目标 ;In this unit students learn to talk about the weather and talk about what people are doing.知识目标;What are you doing? Im watching TVWhats he doing? Hes playing basketball.Whats she doing? Shes cooking.What are they doing? Theyre studying.Hows the weather? Its raining.情感目标: Through the activities of talking about the weather and things around us, students show their concern for others ,the environment and our society.说重难点:1. Maste the new words about the weather :raining ,sunny ,snowy,windy2.Describe the weather and what people are doing . .3 Describe what is happening-present continuous tense说学情刚刚步入初中的学生,基础知识和表达能力都比较差针对这一种情况,在 入门教学阶段,我努力做好中小学的衔接,培养他们良好的学习习惯,努力培养他们的学习兴趣,如通过他们喜爱的游戏,调查,角色表演等方法反复练习基本单词与句子说教法与学法. Task-based method s, role play , work in pairs , games and surveys说教学准备:准备教学用到的图片 收音机 表格说教学过程Step 1 : Revision by guessing gamesPlay a guessing game to revise “The Present Progressive Tense”Reveal some pictures .Cover some part of the pictures ,let the students guess what people are doing to revise “The Present Progressive Tense”. -What are youthey doing? -Im /WeThey are -What is he she it doing ?-He she it is 设计意图:做这个游戏,学生进行猜测,说出图片中人们正在做的事情,这样既能巩固以前所学的现在进行时,又能为新课的学习做好铺垫。竞争机制的引入又能激活课堂,缓释紧张情绪,可以让学生在轻松的气氛中进入到本课的学习。)Step 2 . Presentation Words:Present the new words about weather using some pictures .Show the students a picture of a sunny day ,present “sunny” ,in the same way ,present the other words about weather .Practice the new words with the pictures .Ask two students to come to the front .One points at the pictures ,the other faces the students and guess the weather with the drill “Is it ?”For example :S1:Is it sunny ?S2:No.S1:Is it snowy ?S2:Yes,its snowy .(Ask more students to practice )Drills 1.Present the new drill “Hows the weather ?Its ? Look at the pictures and answer my questions .(Show students the pictures of a snowy day. Ask :-What are they doing ?-They are making a snowman .-Hows the weather ?-Its snowing snowy . (设计意图:这一环节通过图片创设了真实的语言环境,引导学生在具体的情境中学习语言,通过猜天气,激发了学生探求的好奇心理,并就老师提出的问题进行小组强答,充分体现“学中用,用中学”的教学理念,培养学生的交际能力。教师是活动的引导者,学生使活动的主体。)Step3 Practice the drills . With some pictures ,practice the new sentence -Hows the weather ?-Its snowing (snowy)raining (rainy )windy cloudy sunny .(幻灯片17-21)(设计意图:通过小组活动进一步巩固对这一句型。)Step 4 :Role playPractice in groups with the picture. (a)Work in groups .make your own conversations about the weather in five different places .As the groups are talking ,the teacher move around the room monitoring their work ,offer language or pronunciation support as needed .(b) Ask some groups to act their conversations out .Step 5 Listening Finish off 1a and then ask and answer in pairs like the model :-Hows the weather in Moscow ? -Its Hows the weather in Toronto ?-Its Look at 1b ,listen and write these city names in the boxes above .(设计意图:通过听力练习,加深对句型的了解和词汇的运用)Step6 ConsolidationTask 1: Who has the best memory ? The students will watch a weather report ,let them try to memorize :Hows the weather in the big cities ?And then they fill off a chart .Task 2 :Who is the best reporter ?Each group has a chart like this,make sure each group has the different places :CityBeijing Shanghai London Tokyo Paris Moscow Weather Good moring !.Heres the weather report Thank you for listening .Task 3 : Survey Suppose your are a reporter from CCTV .You are interviewing people in five different places .Fill in the chart and passages below .Task4:writing practice The Olympic Games will be held in Beijing ,on August 8th .Suppose today is August 9th ,you are a weather reporter ,give us a report about the big cities .(设计意图:通过“争当记忆王”,“最佳天气预报员”等活动,展现并交流学生活动成果。通过生生,师生,组组充分互动的过程,主要由学生展示,交流学习成果,进行知识的迁移,从而达到一个新的学习境界。在展示过程中,其他各组的同学积极参与进来,在提问,质疑,讨论的快乐情境中,在“兵教兵”,“兵练兵”的合作学习中,达到对学习任务的整体把握。)Step 7 Homework for today :1.Collect the words about the weather .2.Listen and watch CCTVs weather report and write a weather report in English . 教学反思:本节课采用任务型教学,充分考虑到教师的主导性和学生的自主性,自始至终都培养学生听,说,读,写能力,学习单词,句子的目的是为了运用,利用图片与游戏的优势,让学生在真实的情境中展示自己所学的单词,句子,达到了学以致用的目的。本节课所
