Go for it八年级(下)第五单元Section A 3a-4 Pairwork说课稿 The content of my lesson is Go for it (B) Unit 5 Section A 3a-4 Pairwork.First,let me talk about my teaching meterials. Part One The analysis of the teaching meterials.A Brief introduction of the teaching materials.This lesson is the second period of Unit 5. It plays a very important part in the English teaching of this unit. The topic of Unit 5 is Decision making. The function of Unit 5 is talking about consequences.In the first period,the students have learned the key vocabury and key sentence sturctures of Sections A. After learning the second period, the students will get more practice in speaking reading and writing by using a chain of activities to help students further understanding First conditional If +will clauses. 1 Help students revise and consolidate the key language points of this unit. 2 Make students gain the ablility of using the target language to talk about consequences.3 Students should receive some moral education. Let students know they should form the consciousness of obeying the school rules and regulations.Students have learned different kinds of rules in Grade 7 (B),so the language material is familiar to students. They will like the matrial and are likely to use it to take part in the organised class activities.B Teaching Aims: Aims of Basic Knowledge :1Key expressions:take away, clean-up,flower2Key structures: 1)Dont wear jeans. 2) If you wear jeans, we wont let you in. Aims of AblitiesBe able to talk about consequences with sectences with First conditional If +will clauses. Aim of EmotionThrough the activities assigned, help students form the consciousness of obeying the shool rules and regulations.C Teaching key pointsUnderstand and use First conditional If +will clauses.D Teaching difficulties pointsWords on rules.Imperative sentences. Part 2 The analysis of students1 Students have learned different kinds of rules and known a little about First conditional If +will clauses.So they will be interested in the teaching material and take active part in the class activites.2They dont often use English to express themselves and communicate with others.3Some students arent active in class because they are afraid of making mistakes.Part 3 Teaching methodsAccording to the features of students, I adopt Audio-lingual method and Task-based approad. Audio-lingal method establishes a real scence and interaction between students and the teacher. The TBLT offers students chances to complete the tasks.The taskes reflect real life and lead students to focus on meaning. So they can master the target language while using it.Through these methods,I mobilize students to learn English actively.Part 4 Studying methods Deducing,cooperative study and brainstorming.Use these methods to develop students abilities of studing , working independantly or in groups.Part 5 Teaching aids1 A tape recorder 2 some pictures Part 6 Teaching proceduresStep 1 Greeting and revision1 The teacher and students greet each other.2 I have a free talk with students. I say, “I have to get up at 6 on workdays because my home is far from our school.If I dont get up at 6, I will be late for work. What time do you get up on school days? ”Then I ask students to talk about their daily life after my modal. At the same time I write students answers on the blackboard. Then I lead students to talk about their classmates using the information on the blackboard.Next I lead students to summarize the usage of First conditional If + will clauses.In this step,I set a real situation and arouse students interest of speaking English and review First conditional if + will clauses.Step 2 Lead-inI say,” I have to get up at 6 so Im not late for work.Why? Because we have to obey school rules.”I organise a competition between groups by asking them to say school rules,family rules and I write the rules that students said on the blackboard. Brainstorm.By doing the above activity,I make students review rules and imperative sentences.Step Three PresentationFirst I say,” Our life is coloful. We have all kinds of activities after school. eg we may have different kinds of parties.Like what?” Let students answer birthday party ,New Year party, welcome party ect. At the same time I show them some pictueres of parties.Then I show the pictures on Page 34,let them work in pairs to talk about these pictures.Next I lead students to work in groups of four to think and speak out the activites they can do on a birthday party. Next I let students read the notice on page 36 and fill in the blanks in the dialogue. By doing this activity,I enliven the atmosphere and get the students to learn the new knowledge unwittingly.Sept Four PraticeFirst I let students work in pairs to make conversations using the words in the box in 3b. Ask some pairs of students to present their onversations to the class. Next I tell students that we are going to hold an class End of year party and ask students to work in groups to make some rules for our own party. And present each groups rules.By doing these activities,I give students speaking practice using the targe language and arouse students learning enthusiansm.Step Five ConsolidationI say, “Our school is taking part in a project to help people. Please work in groups to discuss the events and think of some activities.” Ask a few students to present their conversation to the class. By doing this activity, I can enlarge students vocabulary and foster students ability in thinking, imagining
