Point to each picture in turn and elicit the animals English name.Tell the children that you are thinking of one of these animals and that you want them to try to guess which one it is. The children must ask you questions in English. Explain that you will only answer “Yes, it is.” or “No, it isnt.” The children should continue to ask questions until they have guessed the correct animal.Choose another animal on the board and repeat the procedure. Now put the children into pairs. One of the children should think of one of the animals on the page. The other child must try to guess which one it is. Show your copy of the page. Point to each picture and ask what it is.
