He is writing a letter to his father in Chinese. 2in pairs意为“成双地”,“成对地”,“两人一组”。如:Please ask and answer in pairs. 3in the wall 表示在墙里面。如:There is a hole in the wall. 如果表示在墙的表面或墙上,用on the wall。如:She put a map of China on the wall. 4at work意为“在工作”,work前不加the。类似这样的词组还有at home(在家),at school(上学),at table(就餐)等。5by+交通工具:表示“乘”。如:by bike= on the bikeby train= on the train, by boat= on the boat by plane / air = on the plane, by ship/sea= on the ship by car = in the car, by bus =in the bus等。但:步行则用on foot来表达。6on ones way表示“在去的途中”。如:He found a dog walking in the street on his way home. on ones way to school 在某人上学的途中on ones way back 在某人返回的途中7on duty表示“值日”。如:Whos on duty today? 今天谁值日?I am on duty. 我值日。动词+介词&副词结构1动词+介词结构。这类词组无论其宾语是名词还是代词,都要放在介词之后。如:look after= take care of 照看,照料 look like 看上去像look at 看be worried about 对担忧come from =be from 来自 get to 到达 work on 从事,操作 turn on(off)打开,(关掉) come into 进入2动词+副词结构这类词组后接宾语时,宾语如果是名词既可放在动词与副词之间,也可放在副词之后;如果是人称代词,多放在动词和副词之间。如:hand up 举起手来 put on 穿上;挂上(贴上) take off 脱掉 put away 把放好;把收起来There be和to have句型这两个句型都表示“有”的意思。There be表示“存在”的关系,to have侧重“所属关系”。如:There are forty students in our class. We have a happy family. 使用There be和to have句型时还应注意以下几点:1There be句型中的就近一致原则。即be的形式与靠近它的主语一致。如:There is a table and two chairs in the room. I am sure my dream will come true. 学习方法:小学的英语学习其实是简单的,单一的,它没有完整的知识系统。小学英语学习最主要的就是积累简单常用的词汇,诸如:banana,house,family等等,另外就是树立对外国语言的学习兴趣,这是小学英语学习的最主要功能。然而进入初中之后,词汇量的大量增加,系统语法知识的庞大,短语搭配的增多,课文文章的加长,还有中考应试的压力,这一切都让初中学生可能感到不知所措,很茫然。所以要形成正确的英语学习方法和技巧,这一定对你以后学习有重大帮助。1.单词的记忆。其实英语的学习历来都把单词的学习作为重点,初中也不例外。我们一定要记住,单词记忆切忌孤立地,单纯地背诵单词。我们中学最习惯的背诵方法就是背拼写,比如what这个单词我们一般都是这么背what what,这样只是记住了几个孤立的字母而并没有记住单词,过不了几天就会把这个单词忘掉。那么我们就要把单词放在一个整体或者环境中背诵,比如我们不如记住下面一句话:What is your name?(你的名字叫什么)那么就不容易忘掉了。也就是说每记一个单词都要相应地记住用这个单词在内的一个例句,因为单词的意思只能在句子中体现,有意思我们才不容易忘掉,而孤立的无意思的不容易记住。另外记忆单词要利用一切可能的办法去记住,比如分类记忆:我们把动物的有关词汇放在一起,把有关校园的有关词汇放在一起,或者天文,地理,等等。当然我们也可以利用谐音的方法自己编写些小段子记住单词。2.语法的学习。初中是开始学习系统语法知识的重要阶段。这阶段语法学习好了,以后语法就会感到很轻松。首先应该明确是初中的时候我们学习的更多的是词法而不是句法,因为毕竟从简单开始吧,就算是中考题也基本上没有多少句法的题,所以初中一定要把重心放在词法上,就是名词,介词,冠词,代词,形容词等上面,而这些东西是最零碎的也是最头疼的,我们就更要有细心和耐心。建议每学习一个语法点,在学校教室里抄过一遍笔记后,回家静下心来,再重新整理一遍笔记,去粗取精,这其实是回顾温习的过程,并且要做好分类,不同重要程度的或者难易程度的要用不同的颜色区别对待,并时常翻阅。此外课堂上的语法知识往往和教材同步而并不系统,我们还可以再有一本语法书籍,甚至可以买高中语法,这样有知识的拓展。3.文章的学习。现在的教材文章普遍较难。所以阅读文章难度是相当大的。学生在学习文章前一定要预习老师即将要讲的内容,事先把自己认为比较难的单词语法和句子划出来,这样就可以有的放矢。课本上的文章一定要精读,不能说看懂了就可以,而是要把每一个重要的单词和句子都要吃透。同时对文章中的经典词汇和段落要记笔记,甚至要会背诵,为后面的写作打基础。加强英语学习,阅读是重点,课堂上的文章太过教条和局限,可能缺乏生动性和乐趣性。因此课后也要多读些课外文章。建议读些国内出版的浅显的英语文章,比如象“英语沙龙初级版”英汉对照着看。一定会有提高。 初二(6)班 Its hard to make friends if you stay alone all the time. That way youll have a bigger group to choose from and have more chances to make friends.(指导教师:牛素珍)【摘 要】差生是指那些思想品德和学习成绩都有比较严重的缺点,表现比较落后的学生。英语学科差生的形成,固然与家庭、社会和学生等因素有关,但与老师的教育思想、教育态度和方法更有直接的关系。有位教育家这样说过:教育才能的基础在于深信有可能成功地教育每个儿童,我不相信有不可救药的儿童、少年或男女青年。事实上,英语差生也有其长处和闪光点,老师应该也能够做好每一个英语差生的转化工作。【关键词】英语教学 差生问题 鼓励 鞭策 英语是一门语言,要真正的学好并掌握一门语言并不是一件容易的事情。事实上,每个年级优秀学生的比例有限,不及格的同学也就是我们所说的差生数较明显。要想进一步提高英语教学质量,抓好差生的转化是一个关键性的问题。一、注重师生之间心与心的交流师生关系是学校教学中最主要的人际关系,教学过程是老师与学生之间在理智、情感、和行为诸方面进行动态的人际交往过程。建立良好的师生之间的人际关系是教学成功的保证。而老师与所谓差生关系的建立尤为重要。一位耐心体贴、循循善诱、诲人不倦的老师,肯定为差生学生所尊敬;而尊敬老师的差学生往往又会顺应老师的期望,以高度的热情投入学习。事实上,英语教学成功与否,不仅取决于学习者的智力因素,还取决于他们情绪,态度、学习动力等,因此老师在任何时候要注意控制自己的情绪,不迁怒、不急燥,切忌使用训斥,侮辱人格和伤害自尊心的语言,切忌向家长及班主任告状。英语教学中,我们发现很多差生在班级中常被学生鄙视,有些老师也指定他们是班级的包袱。使他们在社会上受到冷眼,在家也受到家长的训斥,心里有一种压抑感,英语厌学情绪明显。作为英语老师,我们要改变这种偏见,对于英语差生我们要多给予关心和支持,如果发现他们自信心不强,我们要主动采取适当的形式去栽培他们;有些差生的头脑反应的慢点,有时一个简单的时态讲几遍还不理解,我们要不厌其烦地再多讲几遍,有时想法编成公式和顺口溜,用浅显易懂的语言直到他们听懂为止;当看见差生抄其他同学的英语作业时,我们不但不责备,还应该主动将最好学生的作业本借给他们抄,并叮嘱他们要一抄、二读、三背,待下一节课,我们要有意识地让差生站起来口头做一遍,这样做同样也能达到预期的效果;每次的英语单元测验,我们老师要将成绩有进步差生名字提出来及时表扬,让他们也享受一下成功的欢乐及喜悦。无数事实证明,差生有消极性,也有积极性;有逆反心理,也有求知欲;有违反纪律的行为,也有守纪律的愿望,我们要注意关注他们,给他们以关怀。二、按照差生实际构建合适的课堂爱因斯坦说过:“兴趣是最好的老师”。因此,英语教学中,我们要创造一个轻松、愉快的学习环境,采用灵活多变的教学方法,让差生做中学,学中用,从而激发兴趣,学地主动,提高效率。诚然,很多差生学生英语成绩一旦落下,就会产生厌学情绪,上课不集中精力听讲,而且还会在课堂上捣乱,使英语教学活动受到影响。为了让他们逐步的喜欢上英语、学英语,我们要采取由易到难,由游戏到教学的方法,让他们在轻松的环境中学习这门语言。差生由于羞怯心理往往怕开口,我们要尽量用难易适度的问题去问他们,叫他们到黑板上写有把握的句子,朗读事先已读过多遍的课文。当差生完成的正确时,我们要面带笑容地说:“very good!”,他们往往因得到这两个词而激动,我们应也为他们的一点点的进步而兴奋不已。这样差生开口的习惯慢慢的养成。可以预计,一段时间下来,差生的参与意识将大大加强,畏惧心理也将会消除。同时,为了延长差生上课专注的时间,我们还可以结合所学内容做些游戏,教点歌曲,听听录音,讲些有趣的英语故事等。课堂上将好差生搭配起来,采取集体、小组、双人,个别活动训练,凝聚学生的注意力,调节他们的情绪。让差生在和谐轻松的气氛中学习。差生有了学习英语的兴趣,我们就及时地帮助他们列出学习计划。由于差生基础较差,接受新知识较慢,我们还可以利用课余时间帮助他们做好课前预习,做到笨鸟先飞。在课后也及时的督促他们进行复习和巩固。一定的学习目标是差生获得学习动力的源泉,差生之所以差,没有奋斗目标是一重要原因,我们要在对每位差生全面了解的基础上,给他们制定短期学习目标和长期学习目标,而且经常检查这一目标,及时修改目标,一旦发现给他们订得过高或过低,就逐一帮助他们修正,让他们经常达到自己的目标,并尝试成功的喜悦,激发他们英语学习的动力。 初二(1)班 Let me tell you something about my weekend.I am going to do many things and be very busy on the weekend. Can you tell me?(指导教师:徐永红)中学生在学习英语的过程中,最感头疼的是记忆单词。尽管他们花了大量的时间和精力记单词,可总是记不住!原因何在呢?那就是他们没有掌握科学的记忆方法。英语词汇的记忆可以说是整个英语学习的基础,没有词汇量就不可能有高水平的外语能力。以下是一些记忆方法的介绍,供同学们学习时选用。 一.读音规则记忆法 它就是按照元音字母、元音字母组合、辅音字母及辅音字母组合在开音节和闭音节的读音规律记忆。例如:ea,ee,er,ir,ur,or分别能发i:等。还有些固定的字母组合,例如:tion发或,ture发,ing发i,ly发li,ty发ti和各种前缀、后缀,例如:a-,re-,un-,dis-,im-;-ed,-ing,-ly,-er,-or,-ful,-y等都有其比较固定的发音。掌握了这些规则,记单词时就不必一个字母一个字母地记忆了。 二.字母变化记忆法 英语单词中以某个单词为基础,加、减、换、调一个字母就成了另一个新单词。具体方法如下:1.前面加字母。例如:is-his,ear-near/hear,read-bread2.后面加字母。例如:hear-heart,you-your,plane-planet3.中间加字母。例如:though-through,tree-three,for-four4.减字母。例如:she-he,close-lose,start-star5.换字母。例如:book-look/cook,cake-lake/wake/make/take6.调字母(即改变字母顺序)。例如:blow-bowl,sing-sign,from-form 三.联想记忆法 1按同音词分类。例如:seesea,right瓀rite,meetmeat 2按形近词分类。例如:threethere,fouryour,quitequiet 3按同义词分类。例如:biglarge,harddifficult,be-ginstart 4按反义词分类。例如:rightwrong,youngold,comego 5按读音分类。例如:字母组合ea在eat,meat,teacher中读i:;而在bread,ready,heavy中读e;在great,break中读ei。这样不仅单词记住了,而且读音也掌握了。四.归类记忆法 在记忆过程中,把所学到的全部单词进行归纳、分类、整理,使其条理清晰,一目了解,然后再分别记忆。例如:按题材分类。把名词分为生活用品、动物、植物、水果、食物、家庭成员、人体各部位、学习用具、学科、交通工具、地方场所、星期、月份、季节等;把动词分为系动词、助动词、行为运动词和情态动词,等等。 五.构词记忆法 掌握一些构词法知识,可以大大地增加自身的词汇量。英语构词法主要有以下三种情况: 1.派生法。这种方法就是在一个词根的基础上加上一个前缀或后缀,从而构成另一个新词,并且与该词根的含义有着密切的联系,此类词便称为派生词。如常用的前缀in-,im-,un-,dis-等表示否定含义;后缀-er,-or,-ist等表示人;以及后缀-y,-ly,-ful等表示形容词性等。如:likeunlike,teachteacher,friendfriendly等。 2.合成法。这种方法就是把两个或几个各自独立的单词并到一起组成一个新的单词,由此法构成的单词便称为合成词或复合词。如:black(黑色的)board(木板)blackboard(黑板),class(班)room(房间)classroom(教室),foot(脚)ball(球)football(足球)等。 3.转化法。这种方法就是在不改变拼写形式的基础上,由一种词性转化为另一种词性,主要有名词转化为动词、动词转化为名词、形容词转化为动词或名词等。如:water(n.水)water(v.浇水),lift(v.举起)lift(n.电梯),last(adj.过去的)last(v.持续)等。 六.循环记忆法:它是指对识记的单词反复记忆的方法。根据遗忘规律,人的遗忘从识记后便开始,先快后慢。因此,复习的时间间隔就应是先短后长。例如,今天学到的单词,在当天背熟之后,第二天、第四天、第七天、第十四天、第二十八天都应复习一次,这样才能形成长时间的
