摘要 不同的语言所涉及的文化、习俗或宗教背景亦不相同。在翻译中，由 于两种语言的差异，尽管译者对某句话或某段文字的翻译已经做到了意义 相同、语义对等、文体相当、风格接近，但就局部而言，仍然不能够实现 翻译的目的，换言之，仍然没法让译文读者真正读懂译文。在这种情况下， 就要添加必要的注释，以帮助译文读者真正读懂译文，还有可能让部分读 者感受到原作者藏在字里行间的更深刻的内涵。译文注释是译者实现翻译 目的之不可或缺的一种手段。 中国语言学大家吕叔湘先生也指出：“必要的注释应该包括在翻译工作 之内。鲁迅先生译书时就常常加注，也常常为了一个注文费许多时间去查 书。”可见注释在翻译中的运用十分必要。而译者在注释的添加的问题上 要十分谨慎，要充分考虑读者的期待视野，以满足不同读者的要求。而读 者的要求“不外乎两种，一是至少要看得懂，二是要读了有所得 。这正说 明译作除了要适应读者的期待视野，“至少要看得懂 之外，同时还应注 意审美距离，“要读了有所得”。 注释在翻译中有着不可忽视的作用，但是国内外当前对翻译中注释研 究的状况表明，翻译中的注释研究长期得不到应有的重视，我国学者对翻 译中注释的研究大多单一地讨论在具体翻译实践中如何添加注释的问题， 停留在语言层面，运用理论系统地探讨注释问题的文章难得一见，针对这 种情况，本文旨在以接受美学中的期待视野理论为指导，研究翻译中的注 释行为，探讨翻译中注释的影响因素。作者认为读者期待视野对译者在翻 译过程中注释运用有着重要的启示与影响。译者应该根据读者期待视野与 原文文本之间的审美距离来决定是否有必要添加注释，并指出注释的添加 与否应该随着读者期待视野的历史性变化而改变。 关键词：期待视野；翻译；注释 a b s t r a c t d i f f e r e
