的有用信息。随着国际学术交流的加强，英文摘要已经成为交流主要的途径。在国内， 学位论文都要附有英文摘要。 英文摘要作为一种独特的应用文体，在语言与结构方面有其自身的特点，正确把握 其结构特征是写好学位论文英文摘要的关键。韩礼德提出了三种纯理功能，其中包括语 篇功能。语篇分析是从不同的结构层面和非结构层面对语篇进行分析，而主位推进是语 篇分析的重要途径之一。主位推进是语篇连贯中的重要理论，也是探索文章结构的有效 途径。主位推进的使用在一定程度上决定了一篇英文摘要的质量。 鉴于此，本文以徐盛桓的七大逻辑语义关系和黄国文提出的六种主位推进模式为理 论依据，从中国博士学位论文全文数据库收集四十余篇论文，对博士学位论文的英文摘 要进行了主位推进模式对比研究，其中十篇为文科类博士所写，十篇为理科类博士所写， 十篇为工科类博士所写，最后十篇为管理类博士所写。 结果显示四组学生在选择主位推进模式的不同趋势。分析表明第二组学生( 理科类 博士) 使用最多的主位推进模式是平行型，而第一组( 文科类博士) ，第三组( 工科类 博士) 和第四组( 管理类博士) 则更倾向于使用延续型。不考虑语法正误，词汇选择等 其他因素，单从主位推进模式上讲，四组摘要之间各存在差异。
