中文摘要 隐喻研究的历史源远流长。自从亚里士多德后，众多语言学家、哲学家和心 理学家都曾针对这种语言现象从各种不同的角度给予了精辟的论述。本文在评述 前入对隐喻研究的基础之上，展现了关联理论在解读隐喻话语方面呈现的科学 性，从而使读者对于这个热点话题有了一个全新的理解和认识。 法国学者斯珀伯和英国学者威尔逊于1 9 8 6 年在关联：交际和认知一书 中首次正式提出关联理论，它的核心概念是关联。关联理论认为交际成功的基础 是交际者认知环境的互明( 相互显映) 。基于斯珀伯与威尔逊对语言使用的两个 维度、字面表达与随意言谈之间的关系和明示一推理交际模式的详尽阐释，本文 对于隐喻的成因、本质和理解过程进行了重新定位和解读，分别指出隐喻的成因 是发话者追求最佳关联的产物；隐喻的本质是需要付出努力的随意言谈；隐喻的 理解过程同其他话语一样遵循明示一推理模式，涉及三个过程：显义的识别、语 境假设的构建和语境隐含的构建。它的理解过程实际上就是寻求关联的过程。此 过程的最终目标就是达到说话人明示的最佳关联。最后本文对关联理论用于隐喻 的解读做出了评价，分别指出其创新性和局限性。 本文从关联理论的角度对隐喻这一语言现象进行了探索研究，旨在运用关联 理论的一些核心概念来研究隐喻，因此本研究是理论驱动而不是语料驱动的。而
