摘要元认知是认知主体对自身的认知现象的认知( f l a v e l l ，1 9 7 9 ) 。根据f l a v e l l 对元认知的分类它包括：元认知知识、元认知体验、任务或目标以及元认知策略。而这几个方面又是相互联系、相互制约、共同发展的。其中元认知知识是指有关认知的知识，即个体关于哪些因素影响认知过程和结果，以及这些因素如何起作用等问题的知识。它包括主体知识( 即有关个人作为学习者的知识) 、任务知识( 即学习者对任务特性和相应的信息加工要求的理解) 和策略知识( 即关于为完成某一学习任务应采用什么样的策略的知识) 。由此可见，元认知知识对于学习者来说在其学习过程中起着一定的作用。在大学英语教学中，写作教学是一个很重要的环节。对于许多非英语专业大学生来说，英语写作也是英语学习四项技能中较难掌握的一种。因此，近年来国内外许多专家、学者对英语写作教学的关注与研究也越来越多。国内主要侧重对影响大学生写作能力的因素以及对大学生写作过程的研究。基于元认知理论的英语写作研究却未得到应有的重视。而国外的大量研究已经表明在英语写作中的成功者掌握大量的元认知知识。例如，成功的语言学习者对写作任务的性质很了解并懂得如何使用写作策略以达到写作目的。此外，不论是国内还是国外，都没有对英语写作元认知知识中的三个变量( 主体知识、任务知识以及策略知识) 与英语学习者的写作成绩之间的关系进行过研究。本研究基于f l a v e l l 的元认知理论，参考o x f o r d1 9 9 0 年的“语言学习策略问卷”以及国内的相关资料，编制了“英语写作元认知知识问卷”作为测查大学生在写作中掌握与使用元认知知识情况的工具。研究结果证明：“英语写作元认知知识问卷”具有较高的信度( 内部一致性系数达到0 9 1 3 ，分半系数达到0 7 9 9 ) 可以用来作为实验工具。在此问卷基础上本研究探寻了大学生掌握与使用元认知知识情况与其v写作成绩之间的关系，从而为探索有效的写作教学模式提供依据。本文首先提出三个研究问题：第一，非英语专业大学牛在英语写作中掌握与使用元认知知识的情况如何? 第二，英语写作元认知知识中的三个变量主体知识、任务知识以及策略知识与他们的英语写作成绩是否相关? 第三，在控制学生每周用在英语写作学习上的时间这变量的情况下，非英语专业大学生在英语写作中掌握与使用元认知知识的情况与他们的写作成绩是否相关?为了回答以上研究问题，本研究首先对自愿参加调查的1 2 6 名大学二年级的非英语专业学生进行了一次大学英语四级写作水平的测试。这些学生来自于沈阳师范大学的五个不同专业，并且都已经通过了全国大学英语四级考试，而没有通过六级考试。英语写作水平测试后，被调查者马上又根据要求填写了“英语写作元认知知识问卷”。其中1 1 5 名被调查者提供了完整的数据。通过s p s s1 3 0 对相关数据进行描述分析、斯皮尔曼相关系数以及偏相关系数分析后，得出以下主要结论：非英语专业大学生在英语写作中掌握与使用元认知知识的情况一般；他们的英语写作成绩与其掌握与使用的写作任务知识成正相关；即使在控制学生每周用在英语写作学习上的时间这一变量的情况下，非英语专业大学生在英语写作中掌握与使用元认知知识的情况仍与他们的写作成绩成正相关，也就是说，学生对写作元认知知识掌握与使用得越好他们在英语写作中的成绩就越高。最后，本研究阐述了研究结果对大学英语写作教学的多方面启示，探讨了本研究的局限性与不足之处。同时，对今后基于元认知理论的英语写作研究提出了建议、措施与展望。希望本研究的研究结果能为广大大学英语写作教学的实践者提供帮助。关键词：元认知知识，英语写作，非英语专业大学生，写作成绩v
