摘要 现在广泛认为词汇是习得一种外语的基础。正如著名的语言学家威尔金斯所说：没 有语法，人们不能表达很多东西，而没有词汇，人们则无法表达任何东西。许多研究者 和学者证明了二语词汇习得是二语习得的重要成分。不管学生的语法学得多好，不管他 们掌握第二语言的声音有多成功，没有足够的词汇就难以表达一个广泛的意义，在二语 中交流就很难以任何有意义的方式发生。 词汇习得一直是困扰中国初中学生的一个难题，为了更好地了解初中学生词汇学习 策略的运用情况，作者设计了学生词汇学习策略调查问卷，问卷的设计是根据0 m a l l e y c h a m o t 的词汇策略分类方法，在此基础上又参考了唐珍玉的初中学生词汇学习调查 问卷。 1 ) 宏志班学生与普通班学生使用英语词汇学习策略有何差异? 2 ) 学生英语词汇学习策略的运用和他们的学习成绩之间有关联吗? 3 ) 词汇策略培训对词汇测试成绩有何影响? 通过回顾国内外有关词汇学习策略的研究现状，本论文分别选择了8 6 位来自洛阳实 验中学初中二年级( 宏志班和普通班) 的学生为研究对象，研究工具是一份学生词汇学 习策略调查问卷，词汇测试和采访，采用l i k e r ts c a l e 量表的方法，对其进行了实证研究。 调查数据采用s p s s l 7 0 进行分析，调查结果显示：1 ) 初中学生使用词汇策略的水平处在 初始阶段，使用率普遍偏低：2 ) 学生英语词汇学习策略的运用和他们的学习成绩是紧 密相关的。词汇学习策略的运用对初中学生的教和学都是有效的；3 ) 在词汇策略培训 之后，作者发现培训的学生对英语词汇学习策略的重要性有了一定认识，他们能运用更 多的英语词汇策略来帮助他们记忆新单词，效果比那些没有培训的学生更明显。
