摘要 作为一名作家，托妮莫里森无疑是成功的。1 9 9 3 年，她因“其富于洞察力和诗情 画意的小说把美国现实的一个重要方面写活了 而获得了诺贝尔文学奖，成为第一位获 得此殊荣的黑人女作家。在其一系列优秀的小说作品中，宠儿是其中最为出色的一 部。这部“神奇而辉煌”的巨著，是“美国文学史上的里程碑。笔者认为托妮莫里 森在小说中成功运用拉美魔幻现实主义的艺术形式，对传达小说主题，引起强烈的震撼 效果功不可没。同时，这一艺术特色也成为此小说写作的一大亮点，也是目前为止国内 外鲜有人涉足的方向。这种独特的写作特色应当得到文学界足够的关注。因此，笔者在 这篇论文中探讨宠儿中体现的魔幻现实主义。 魔幻现实主义源于拉丁美洲，其自身的三个特点使其独树一帜：第一，它将虚幻的 与现实的成分并置，把神奇与现实，过去和现在，梦幻与真实的界限模糊化，创造出了 亦真亦幻的，强烈的魔幻式美学震撼效果。第二，大量运用神话原型，包括西方神话及 非洲民间传说，赋予了小说文字魔幻的神奇色彩。第三，奇幻意象的使用是魔幻现实主 义一个重要的特色，它表现了现实的魔幻性。比如，塞丝背后的“树”的意象，变幻莫 测的“水”的意象等等。这三个创作原则从三个方面紧密结合，共同突显小说的主题。 本篇论文旨在研究小说中的这一“奇幻的写作技巧。论文分为三个部分。在第一部分 中，作者探索了小说中魔幻与现实因素的并置在文本中的体现，展现了一个“神话世界 。 第二部分研究了神话原型在小说中的运用。第三部分揭示了奇幻的意象，它加速揭示了 掩藏在神秘面纱下的真实。 总而言之，托妮莫里森成功的在小说宠儿的创作中运用了魔幻现实主义写作 技巧。可以清楚的看到，小说的整个主题是架构在魔幻现实主义的三原则之上的，足以
