2 论弗洛伊德主义和舍伍德安德森的文学创作 摘要 作为美国现代小说的开创者之一，舍伍德安德森在美国现代文学史上享有 非常特殊的地位，近几十年来美国以及其他各国研究美国文学的批评家日益认识 到安德森对美国文学的贡献，他们各自从不同的视角对安德森的作品进行分析、 探讨。然而在“安德森与弗洛伊德主义的关系”这一问题上批评家们还颇有争议。 以霍夫曼、巴洛为代表的评论家认为，安德森没有读过弗洛伊德精神分析学方面 的书，也没有从其中获得什么材料用于创作。而以雷吉斯米乔德，吕倍卡威 斯特为代表的评论家则认为安德森是一个“美国的弗洛伊德”、“典型的弗洛伊德 派小说家”。我国学者王宁也认为安德森是赞成和接受弗洛伊德的观点并、将其 糅合在自己的创作中。 本文从分析弗洛伊德对文学影响的详细论述出发，结合对安德森本人的多部 作品的分析，从作品的主题、写作技巧、人物塑造三个方面论述了安德森对待弗 洛伊德的态度：方面直接或间接地接受了弗洛伊德的主要观点，表现在作品中 的意识流，俄狄浦斯情绪，性的主题等方面；另一方面则是接受中有保留，表现 在作品中的现实主义与自然主义的成份，口语化的文体的运用，和对人物内心痛 苦的社会原因的揭示上。 关键词：舍伍德安德森、弗洛伊德主义、意识流、写作技巧、俄狄浦斯情结、 性的主题 3 o
