湖北工业大学硕士学位论文 摘要 翻译作为非常重要的文化交流，不单是各个语言之间转换的表象操作，而且 更是不同文化思维方式之间的转换。语言和思维是密切不可分割的。思维模式是 语言形成在哲学上的机制。思维模式不同就决定了语言的多样性表现形式和其中 的差异。英汉两门语言有一定的思维共性，英汉翻译的基础就得以形成。但是明 显的差异会给翻译带来许多不便。本论文尝试从英汉思维模式不同的方面，阐述 他们的差异是如何体现在结构上的，从而得到一些相关的句子的翻译方法。 本文一共分为六个章节。 第一章是关于论文的总体性的陈述。 第二章论述思维模式差异性的研究在英语翻译中的重要作用。开始提出了思 维模式的概念；接着分析了语言和思维二者间的辨证关系，从。“语言决定了思维 还是“思维决定了语言刀这两个方面进行阐述；最后概括出对思维模式的研究在 外语翻译中有着极其重要的作用这个论断。 第三章讲述思维模式与翻译之间理论。这包括：思维、语言与翻译；语用学 和翻译；社会语言学和翻译；别对比语言学和翻译等。 第四章从历史、地理以及哲学等方面探求造成英汉二者思维模式不同的源泉。 第五章是论文的主体部分。文章详细分析了英汉思维模式的主要差异之处和 它们在语言表现方式上的体现。具体地是：分析类思维和综合类思维；抽象的思 维和具体的思维；客体类思维和本体类思维。在语言表现方面的不同被总结成四 块：循环类结构与直线类结构；从普通到特殊和从特殊到普通的陈述类顺序；关 系类方式和分开类方式；树型的句式和竹型的句式。而且还利用很多的例证讨论 了在翻译时怎样改变差异从而适合汉语的表达方式。 第六章总结整篇论文。 总的说来，我们进行英汉思维模式差异的比较研究可以帮助外语学习和使用 者从更深的层次了解翻译的有关理论知识，以便更好地进行翻译工作。 关键词：思维模式，语言，翻译 湖北工业大学硕士学位论文
