摘要 跨文化交际与公共英语教学 随着世界经济与科学技术的发展和全球一体化的进程，跨文 化交际无论作为一门学者所探讨的学科或是一项技能，都越来越 多地受到人们的重视。我国自从实行改革开放政策以来，与世界 各国的交往也日益频繁。跨文化交际无论是在我国的政治、经济、 外交，还是文化、教育，甚至在日常生活中都日益突显其重要性。 而这其中在范围和意义方面起着越来越重要作用的一个领域是教 育领域。特别是在非英语专业的教学当中，文化因素以及跨文化 交际能力常常是容易被教育者所忽略的方面。 传统的公共英语教学过于注重传授语言知识和以教师为中 心，这样一种填鸭式的教学势必会造成学生重知识轻能力的一种 现象。那么，如何才能既兼顾语言教学又进行文化教学以及加强 对学生交际能力的培养呢? 本文在理论基础上，结合作者所使用 的现行教材当代大学英语当中所出现的若干文化现象进行了
