西南交通大学硕士研究生学位论文第1 页 摘要 本文在现代符号学理论的基础上，探讨文学翻译中文学意义对等的理论。 j 文学翻译的善墼任务在于忠实地传达原文的文学信息尽管文学作品的存 在有赖于语言，但又学佰总并非语言符号直接传达的信息。语言符号对文学符 号的贡献在于以其所指组成文学作品的字面意义，而并非作品所表达的深层含 义。文学信息包括作品的字面意义、比喻意义、风格意义、动机意义、语境意 义、文化意义等多种含义，这对文学翻译确是挑战。传统的翻译研究侧重于语 言层面上的这种或那种对等，但未能对作品中所有文学意义的全息对等问题提 出理论上的解决办法。lp 根据文学符号学的理论，文学符号和语言符号是两种互不相同的符号。一 部文学作品的整体是一个文学符号。文学符号的能指是文学作品的字面意义， 或者“象”。文学作品的所指是文学能指所传达的文学信息。与语言符号不同， 文学符号传达的是个人的而非约定的信息。文学符号是有理据的符号，即文学 符号的能指与所指之间存在关系：文学符号的能指包含所指。 l 因此，据此理论，我们可以重新审视文学翻译的意义对等问题。以往的翻 译理论往往集中于对文学作品中的语言符号的对等讨论，而文学符号学的对等 观则建立在文学符号的层面上。由于文学能指包含文学所指，文学信息的全息
