论文摘要 中国银行业对外开放，使得对既懂金融又懂英语的复合型人才的需求不断增加。特别是 在中国人民银行和国家教委联合颁布建立金融英语证书考试制度之后，金融英语越 来越受到重视。在这种背景下，一直在特殊用途英语教学领域处于领先地位的经贸大学 为培养复合型人才，满足社会需求，开设了金融英语课程，并受到学生的普遍欢迎。 金融英语属于特殊用途英语范畴，所以对金融英语的研究应遵循特殊用途英语的理论框 架其中最为重要的一个特色便是对学习者的需求分析。本文旨在通过调查问卷分析学 生主观需求，检验课程设置中反应出的课程设置者们所得出的客观需求是否合乎学生的 主观需求，以期达到改进特殊用途英语的课程设置的目的，使其更好的为满足学生需 求服务。 本文分为五章。第一章阐述了论文写作的动机和意义，以及本文的假设。第二章介绍 了论文写作中将用到的e s p 相关理论和需求分析。第三章介绍了经贸大学的金融英语
