Ss can talk about their own opinions about Where did they go? and How was the trip?2) Reading: Ss can master the key words and new phrases such as aquarium, souvenir, ice cream, seal, shark, hang out and so on.3) Writing: Ss can understand the passage and find out the specific information (E.g.: How did class 9 go to the school trip? What did they see?), and also, learn how to write letters.4) Listening: Grasp the meaning of all the listening materials in the textbook, circle what theyve heard, fill in the blanks and repeat the major part of the content.5) Practicing: Ss should know how to do all the exercises in the textbook and deal with different questions in class.2 Affection objectives Ss will be able to realize that there will a lot of happiness in life. Since they are still at school, they have to study hard and find happiness in their daily study life. At the same time, they need to have some outdoor activities to cultivate their cooperative skills and to enjoy their life. Part 2 (Grammar Focus-4: focusing on grammar and reading) : Lead-in (Review last class with listening and consolidate studying about things happened in the past); Grammar Teaching (grammar in this unit is based on unit 4s which we have learnt, so its comparatively easy for the students.); Reading part ( read and then draw the timeline and answer my questions); Review. Part 3 (1a-2c: focusing on knowledge consolidating ): Lead-in (Making conversations); Review with further listening and varied exercises; Pair work; Review.Part 4 (3a-4: focusing on Writing) : Lead-in; A further and deeper reading; Write a letter; Exchange the letter with desk mates; Read a model letter; Review. Ss may not be familiar with some phrases, place names and some sentences. The reading is not a difficult one. Ss can understand it in class. 二、Teaching Objectives(Knowledge,Skills,Affection、Value)1、Knowledge Objectives Ss are able to review the key words and phrases occurred in the sentences and conversations, and also know how the add -ed and how to change the verbs back to the original ones. Ss are able to answer the questions under different question patterns (Did you go to.? Were there any.?). Ss can understand the story, draw the timeline and answer the questions about the passage. 2、Skills Objectives Ss are able to ask and answer questions about events in the past. Ss are able to read a story clearly and quickly, and gain skills of accurate reading. Ss are able to oral-make a story.3、Affective Objectives and values Ss realize that school trip is very meaningful and its kind and nice to help each other on a trip 三、Teaching Important and Difficult Points1、Teaching Important Points: Review and describe what they did. Review the past tense and finish the whole grammar learning. Read the passage and do some practice.2、Difficult Points Help the students fully use what we have learned or heard to talk about events in the past. Deeply understand the past tense and skillfully use it in the conversations. Master the main contents in the passage and summarize it.
