男性视角下的女性： 爱伦坡三篇短篇小说中的女性形象解读 学科专业：英语语言文学 指导教师：孙太副教授 研究方向：英美文学 研究生：张钦娟 内容摘要 爱伦坡是一位优秀的诗人及作家。一个多世纪以来，他的小说吸引了无数学者 和评沦家的关注。其中，有三篇短篇小说的主题是女性死亡和疯狂，它们分别是椭 圆形i 面j 像，贝雷尼丝及丽姬娅。本文将以女性主义电影理论一经典电影叙 述为理论基础，通过分析小说中女性的社会环境、文化环境及心理状况，从男性视 角、男性幻想、女性欲望及女性自主等方面着手分析这三篇小说中的女性形象。 在男性视角中，这些女性都受到了压迫和歧视。她们被迫成为男性的欲望对象 和受害者，但她们的反应却大为不同。这些小说中的女性形象可分为三类：a 不具 有反抗精神的沉默的女性。椭圆形画像中的模特妻子太过于软弱而无法反抗， 她是不具有反抗精神的沉默的女性；b 具有反抗精神的女性。贝雷尼丝中的贝 雷尼丝以及丽姬娅中的罗维娜竭力反抗男性的压迫。尽管没成功，但她们表现 出了反抗精神；c 拥有女性自主的女性。丽姬娅中的丽姬娅则不同。她虽然也 是男性角色的欲望对象，但她拥有自己的身份与女性自主。她甚至比她丈夫还要强 而有力，因此她不但说出了她的欲望而且还满足了她的欲望。丽姬娅主宰了她的爱 情和生命。
