摘要 前见理论是伽达默尔哲学阐释学的重要内容。建立在海德格尔 理解的前结构基础上的前见理论认为，任何理解和解释都依赖于解 释的前见。前见不再是传统阐释学所定义的是达到文本正确理解的 障碍，而是理解和解释的首要条件。前见由历史、传统构成，个人 后天所培养的禀赋和吸收的见解也是历史文化的传承。前见也导致 了理解和解释的多样性，不同的前见继承自不同的历史文化，不可 避免地打上了译者所处的历史文化背景的烙印，影响着他对文本的 理解。 译者作为文本的解释者，无法排除前见的影响，在翻译时必然 是带着自身的前见对文本进行解释的，解释和翻译时策略的各异在 很大程度上也根源于译者前见的差异。解释和策略二者的差异共同 构成了译本多样性的内容。译者的前见由历史文化传统构成，同时 不能忽略译者个人后天培养的禀赋和修养，笔者就此把前见主要分 成三部分来加以探讨，即译者的文化环境、历史背景以及个人禀赋。 前见理论为我们了解译者选择解释和策略中的差异以及译本的多 样性提供了宏观上的指导和帮助。 诗经博大精深，是我国古老文化传统的瑰宝，也是儒家经 典之。其英译一直是中外译者孜孜不倦的爱好。各大名家的经典 译本为中华古老文化的广为传播提供了可行的途经。由于译家对 诗经的理解和解释从而采取的策略的各异必然导致译本的多 样，向世人传达的文化传统的内涵也自不相同，这种差异在很大程 度上源于诗经译者自身前见的差异，也就是其文化环境、历史 背景和个人禀赋的差异。 引言部分介绍本文总体规划，包括文献综述、研究目的以及总 体结构。 第一章介绍前见理论，包括其基础、内涵、功能和类型，并联 系翻译探讨二者关系，提出译者前见的不同导致了其在翻译过程中 理解和解释的不同，因而也在很大程度上影响着译者策略的选择。 最后指出前见主要包括三个组成：文化环境、历史背景以及个人禀 赋，对前见的研究也应当从这三个方面进行。 第二章简要介绍诗经的历史地位和价值、主要内容、艺术 手法及其英译本情况，为下一章探讨前见和诗经英译的关系作 铺垫。 第三章就前见理论和诗经英译做分析。首先联系第二章中 介绍的情况，比如诗经的内容和艺术手法等来对理雅各、庞德 和许渊冲的这三个主要英译本进行对比，指出三者对经典的解释的 主要特点，并分别得出在翻译这部经典时采用的策略上各自的特 点。然后指出这些解释和策略上的不同来自于三个译者前见的不 同，也就是前见三个主要组成成份：文化环境、历史背景、个人禀 赋的差异，并对这三个组成成份对译者解释经典和采用翻译策略上 的影响在诗经英译中的体现作出分析和探讨。 文章的结论部分，就全文所做的分析进行归纳，指出前见理论 对研究诗经英译的合理指导性。 关键词：前见，诗经英译，解释，策略
