的内心和理念，敢于运用一切可以运用的艺术形式，其为文之诙诡恣睢、构思之荒 诞绝伦、想象力之狂放不羁，不得不令人惊叹其仙才与鬼才，真彼土之李长吉也。 读其文字，犹如突然闯进了一个光怪陆离、充满奇幻的世界，无处不充溢着死亡、 幻灭、梦魇和伤悼的气息。然透过其色彩阴暗、令人悒郁神伤的表面，明达之人都 可洞察出背后涌动的暗流，那一行行看似疯人呓语的文字，正是作者用自己的灵魂 蘸着血与泪涂抹而成的，他以生命为代价实践了自己的艺术观。 爱伦坡之所以有着一股不可遏止的痴狂，耽于幻想，沉湎于杯中物而不能自 拔，是因为这个世界对他的伤害实在是太多了。在爱伦坡看来，我们生活的这个 人世荒谬透顶，他知道现存的一切都只是随生随灭的波纹，终究都会过去；但他的 悲剧就在于没有意识到自己的生命并不比这些波纹更为长久，你若不能顺应它，它 就将把你卷入深不可测的旋涡。爱伦坡在咀嚼着现实的无穷苦涩时，又用文学的 方式为自己构筑了一个逃难所；在虚幻的世界里，他飘摇于风云，周流于天地，用 铿锵的音调，华彩而流动的语言，展开了邈无际涯的幻想。 本文第一章简要介绍哥特风格这一文学流派的源流及主要特征。第二部分论述 爱伦坡与传统哥特文学的关系及其创新。第三部分先对爱伦坡的诗艺观作一评
