摘要 w h 奥登被认为是继艾略特和叶芝之后二十世纪最伟大的英语诗人之一。 从上世纪3 0 年代到五十年代中期，他在英美诗坛的地位显赫，受到学院派批评家 的强烈推崇。奥登一生作品很多，他在技巧上的实验为英美诗坛留下浓墨重彩的 一笔。 每个诗人都有自己独特的风格。奥登曾经说过：“我的诗歌是随着时间而改变 的，并不是随着地点的改变而改变 ，他认为一个人的诗歌风格是随着不同时期的 不同经历而不断发展的。因此，本文将以杰弗里利奇提出的文体学理论为基础， 从前景化的视角来分析和研究奥登诗歌在其不同时期的风格特点。 本文的第一章是引论，主要介绍奥登的文学生涯，并对其作品做出详细的文 献综述，本文主要是从文体学的角度来分析奥登的诗歌，并且陈述了该论文的学 术价值。 第二章主要介绍的是杰弗里利奇的文体学理论。利奇认为前景化是文学语 言最重要的特征之一；理解诗歌实际上也就是把语言中那些被前景化了的方方面 面解释清楚。前景化这一术语最初应用于绘画艺术，指的是和视角最接近的部分。 前景化理论是诗歌文体学分析的一个重要方法。本文通过分析语言的层次和前景 化，试图构建理论分析的模式。 从第三章到第五章，运用本文所构建的理论模式来分析奥登诗歌风格特点。 就奥登的诗歌而言，批评界一般认为他的诗歌是不断改变的。很多批评家根据他 思想上的转变来划分他创作生涯的各个阶段。他经历了三次思想转变，即从弗洛 依德心理分析理论，到马克思主义思想，再到克尔凯郭尔的宗教存在主义。同时 根据奥登诗歌风格的转变，本文重新划分了奥登的诗歌创作生涯，主要为三个时 期：第一个时期是从1 9 2 8 年到1 9 3 2 年；第二个时期是从1 9 3 3 年到1 9 3 8 年；最 后一个时期是从1 9 3 9 年到1 9 4 7 年。我们将分别讨论各个时期的诗歌特点。 第三章分析了第一时期的几首代表性诗歌。通过对这些具有代表性诗歌的变 异和过分规则化特征的分析，认为奥登这一时期的诗歌通常都很晦涩，他常常创 造一些不符合语法的省略句和短句，造成语义的模糊不清；晦涩的人物形象和模 糊的象征，如陌生人等，从而造成更进一步的晦涩。 第四章首先介绍从1 9 3 3 年到1 9 3 8 年第二时期的背景，然后对一些代表性诗 歌进行分析。目睹了现实的残酷，奥登开始写关于社会事件的诗歌，他诗歌中早 期的晦涩开始消失。这一时期的风格特点主要是长而多的分句，这些分句在句法 上很复杂，但却符合语法逻辑。 第五章主要讨论奥登诗歌最后一个阶段的特点。在这个时期，奥登对克尔凯 郭尔的理论产生兴趣，试图寻找一种新的方式来对人类进行探索。因此这一时期 他的诗歌充满着宗教色彩。诗歌语言上更倾向于交谈的方式，措辞和语法也比较 符合规范。
