论文摘要 本文在探讨广告英语本身特点以及分析前人在广告英语文体研究中的 不足之处的基础上,指出了建立一个更加全面的广告英语文体分析模 式的必要性。接着,本文从理论高度评析了各种文体模式的优缺点, 认为以系统功能语法 ( s r c )为基础的功能文体学是一种比较有影响力 且 非常实用的文体分析模式。不过,功能文体模式也存在着 “ 盲点” , 即注重从外部世界 ( 社会)角度来解释语言特点,而忽视了从内部世 界 ( 个体)角度来解释语言特点。特别是,当功能文体模式运用于分 析广告英语这一特殊文体时,它忽略了消费者心理这一重要因素。因 此,本文构建了一个基于功能文体学的、融入消费者个体心理因素的、 适用于广告英语分析的新的文体模式。同时,本文也指出,当这个新 模式运用于分析广告英语时,我们还应该强调模式中的某些侧面,以 符合广告英语文体的特殊性,而无须面面俱到。最后,本文还以一则 英语广告实例,验证了上述经过修正的功能文体模式在分析广告英语 时所具有的全面性和针对性。 ab s t r a c t b y a n a ly z i n g t h e u n iq u e c h a r a c t e r i s t ic s o f a d v e r t is i n g e n g li s h it s e lf a n d e x a m i n i n g t h e d e f ic ie n c y o f p r e v io u s s t u d ie s o n t h e s t y lis t ic f e a t u r e s o f a d v e rt is i n g e n g l is h , t h e p r e s e n t t h e s is p o in t s o u t t h e n e c e s s it y o f f o r m u l a t i n g a m o r e c o m p r e h e n s iv e s t y lis t ic m o d e l t a ilo r e d t o t h is s p e c ia l r e g is t e r . t h e n , o n t h e t h e o r e t i c a l l e v e l , t h i s p a p e r d i s c u s s e s s t y l i s t i c m o d e l s w it h t h e c o n c l u s i o n s t r o n g a n d w e a k p o i n t s o f v a r i o u s s y s t e m ic -
