摘要 英语，作为一门世界通用的语言，其学习者最终的目的在于交流。然而， 我国各教育阶段学生英语口头表达能力的现状不容乐观。究其根源：一是教 师只注重语言知识教学，而轻视学生口头表达能力的培养；二是教师只重视 英语口语学习的认知因素，而轻视口语学习中的情感因素和人格因素；三是 教师不注意自身隋绪、人格、言行等因素对学生的影响。 七十年代以来，外语教学理论逐渐将重心由“以教师为中心”转移到“以 学生为中心”，因而学习者因素，如认知、情感、人格等开始受到关注。同其 它学习者因素相比，有关人格因素对外语学习的影响的研究尚处在初级阶段。 首先把人格因素纳入学习者因素研究范围的是一些勇于开拓创新的西方学 者，g a i -
