s h o tc h r o n i c l e ，1 9 5 7 ) 和法康纳监狱 ( f a l c o n e r ，1 9 7 7 ) 进行分析，着重阐述契弗的个人经历是如何清晰地反映在 这= 本小说中的。同时结合这两本小说创作的大的时代背景，进一步分析指出 契弗这两部长篇小说创作的深刻社会意义及其深邃的主题。本文共分五部分。 引言部分介绍文章的写作目的，提出全文所要分析的内容并为全文结构初 步构建框架。 第一章简介契弗的生平中与本文写作有关的内容及这两部小说创作的社 会和时代背景和创作缘由，并分别简介小说内容，为后面文章的进一步发展奠 定蛀础。 第二章将分析瓦普肖家的编年史，结合精神分析理论和陌生化理论指 出柱这本小说中，契弗为主人公设计了一个与自己极其相似的家庭环境，生活 经历，并通过此来表达个人感受和对生活的感悟和体会。他的小说是对他实际 生活现实的理性回归和升华。他的小说深刻地反映了弗氏理论中对文学作品与 作家关系的观点。同时，在他的这部长篇小说中还反映出他对现代人生存状况 的高瘦关注，瓦普肖家族的衰落正是代表了现代人“美国梦”的幻灭和人类的 被逐出乐园，但只要拥有爱，人类便能重建失去的乐园并获得拯救。 第三章将分析法康纳监狱，通过文本与弗洛伊德精神分析理论和陌生 化理论中与本文写作相关的观点的结合着重阐明小说主人公的生活是如何与契 弗的生活具有高度的一致性，小说主人公的弑兄行为正是契弗与其哥哥日常生 活中矛盾冲突的外在反映，主人公与妻子夫妻关系的紧张和契弗夫妻关系紧张 一致。同时简要评述这部长篇小说的深刻的主题性和社会意义，阐明小说是如 何通过小说主人公最后的新生一步步揭示罪恶与新生，失乐园与复乐园的关系 的主题的。契弗戒酒获得新生后出版这本小说表明了他对罪恶，惩罚与赎罪三 者之间关系的深刻认识以及他对挣脱欲望是解救现代人生存的无意义的方法的 坚定信心。 结语部分再次简要总结契弗作为小说家一生的经历和文学创作，通过契弗 本人对长篇的理解分别简要分析他的这二部长篇是不是松散的短篇相加。同时
