中文摘要 英语已成为世界上使用最广泛的语言。在国际学术领域的交流中，英语的作 用愈加重要。作为科研论文的载体，学术期刊是国际学术交流中一种常厢的途径， 它可以帮助读者了解本领域内的最瓤发展情况。侔为科研论文的一个重要部分， 英文摘要浓缩了论文的精华，成为国际间知识传播、学术交流与合作的桥梁和媒 介。对于作者来说，英文摘要不仅自够吸引读者，丽且能够增加论文的被检索和 引用机会。而对读者来说，简明精炼的英文摘要不仅能够节省阅读时间，而且能 够准确地获取所需信息。因此，对论文摘要的研究显得很有意义。 从体载分析的角度对科研英语语篇进行研究是近二十年来英语研究的一个 热门趋势。体裁分析的先行者之一s w a l e s ( 1 9 9 0 ) 早就把科研论文摘要祝作为一 种体裁。然而，逶过对相关嚣体裁分析文献进行回顾，作者发现，专门对论文摘 要的研究不多，且比较零散。因此，对科研论文英文摘要进行较为综合的体裁分 柝还具有一定的理论徐僵。 基于囱建的语释 库，本文对由中外作者所写的来自于两个学科的期刊科研论 文英文摘要进行体裁分手厅。语粒 库共有科磺论文英文撼要1 2 0 篇，其中鼹个学科 各占一半，每个学科中又分为中国作者和非中国作者两个分语料库，因此共形成 了四个分语料摩。本文采用基于g r a e t z 的四谌步模式所改良的五语步模式并端以 几个湿著的语言特征对语料进行跨文化跨学科的体裁研究。 通过研究发现：1 ) 在结构方面，来自两个学科两个写作群体的英文摘要呈现 较大的一致性。2 ) 在语言特征方丽，一般现在时是摘要中最为普遍使用的时态； 被动语态在各个分语料库的第三语步中占据主要地位。3 ) 学科间差异主要表现在 木工程灼科研论文摘要中未出现第一人称代词，焉在应用语言学的论文摘要中 却出现有1 6 次之多；应用语言学的英文摘要整体上以主动语态为主，但土木工 程的英文摘要中则是被动语态盛行。4 ) 骶个写作群体之间的差异主要表现在，一 方面非中阐作者的论文摘要显得院中国作者结构要复杂，另一方面非中国作者模 糊语的使用明显多于中国作者。 本文研究结果表明，作为一种体裁，科研论文摘要具有其特有的体裁特征。 同时，由于作者的学科和文化背景不同，该体裁也会表现出一定的差异。期待本
