心理牛理冈素对交替l i 译策略影响的实i i f ；j f 究 摘要 本文以8 名受试者( 其中4 名职业口译员，4 名英语专业大四学生) 为研究对 象，从交替口译过程中心理生理因素的角度出发，对受试者所采取的交替口译策 略进行了实证研究。本文拟回答以下三个问题：( 1 ) 什么是心理生理因素? 学生 译员和职业译员的心理生理因素具有哪些差异? ( 2 ) 心理生理因素对口译策略的 选择起什么作用?( 3 ) 8 名受试者分别采用了哪些口译策略? 受心理生理因素的 影响，学生译员和职业译员的口译策略有何不同? 笔者对译文进行了录音，并采用刺激回忆法( s t i m u l a t e dr e c a l l ) 、问卷法和访 谈法记录了受试者口译时的思维过程。通过对问卷、口译笔记、录音以及受试后 的访谈报告等数据的定性分析，得出以下结果： ( 1 ) 心理生理因素是指影响口译过程的口译译员心理生理上的一些共性因 素。问卷渊查显示，学生译员与职业译员主要在注意力、逻辑能力、自信心、毅 力、严谨度、记忆及综合能力因素上存在较大差异。其中，差异最大的为注意力 和逻辑能力：其次为自信心和毅力；再次为记忆力、严谨度及综合能力。 ( 2 ) 心理生理因素对译员口译策略的选择起直接的、整体的、交互影响的作 用。心理生理因素贯穿整个口译过程并影响口译策略的选择、使用、以及译文的 质量。在学生译员区别于职业译员较明显的7 个心理生理因素中，自信心、毅力 和严谨度三个因素作用于整个口译过程并影响译员的策略选择；注意力和记忆力 对记忆和概念形成阶段的影响较大；逻辑和综合能力因素则对表达和自我监控阶 段的影响较突出。 ( 3 ) 受试者口译策略的使用主要体现在交替口译过程三个阶段上。在记忆和 概念形成阶段，受注意力和记忆力因素的影响，受试者主要采用了依靠大脑记忆 和借助笔记记忆这两种策略，少数受试者( 包括职业译员和学生译员) 采用了“自 景化”( f o r e g r o u n d i n g ) 的记忆方法。职业译员已经形成了自己特有的记忆策略， 掌握了较好的笔记技巧，并能在听辨阶段形成命题或内部语言。学生译员则主要 采取笔记的方式来记忆原文内容，然后根据笔记提供的线索回忆和组织译文。当 回忆出现困难时，学生译员主要采取根据笔记记录的顺序逐字逐句翻译和直接的 代码转译的策略。在表达阶段，受逻辑和综合能力因素的影响，受试者主要采用 了字对字的直译、代码转换、以及“出声思维”等策略。但职业译员更注重表达 内容的衔接和连贯，他们人多采用降低语速、插入语或延长某些单词发音的方式 来争取思考时间。而学生译员或完全依赖大脑记忆或过分依赖笔记，由于回忆内 容和语言表达方面的困难，学生普遍采用了争取思考时i h j 的策略，如停顿、重复、 降低语速、延长某个单词的发音，“出声思维”以及代码转换等。住自我监控阶段， 硕上学位论文 职业和学生译员都主要采用了重复、改述、替代和错误启动等几种自我修正策略。 但是从策略选择和使用有效性来看，职业译员的优势较明显。学生译员由于频繁、 机械地使用以上策略，使得译文在连贯与流畅度上大为降低。 研究结果表明，口译训练应该以职业技能训练为主，着重学生译员心理生理 因素的引导和培养。口译人员不仅要具备较好的语言能力，还必须具备较强的心 理生理素质来抵抗口译过程中巨大的心理压力。因此，在开设语言课程提高口译 技能的同时，帮助学生找到自信和职业定位、建立积极乐观的工作态度、培养其 敏锐的思维理解和反应能力以及合作精神，都是大有裨益的。 关键词：心理生理因素；交替口译策略；口译过程 i i i 心理生理冈素对交替u 译策略影响的实证研究 a b s t r a c t t h i st h e s i sc h o o s e s8p a r t i c i p a n t sa st h er e s e a r c hs u b je c t s ( 4p r o f e s s i o n a l i n t e r p r e t e r s a n d4s e n i o re s lu n d e r g r a d u a t e s ) a ne m p i r i c a lr e s e a r c hi sm a d eo n c o n s e c u t i v ei n t e r p r e t i n g s t r a t e g i e s f r o mt h ep e r s p e c t i v eo fp s y c h o p h y s i o l o g i c a l c o m p o n e n t sw h i c ha r ei n v o l v e di nt h ep r o c e s so fc o n s e c u t i v ei n t e r p r e t a t i o n o u r s p e c i f i cr e s e a r c hq u e s t i o n sa r e ：( 1 ) w h a ta r ep s y c h o - p h y s i o l o g i c a lc o m p o n e n t s ? w h a t a r et h ed i f f e r e n c e sb e t w e e ns t u d e n ta n d p r o f e s s i o n a li n t e r p r e t e r s i nt e r m so f p s y c h o - p h y s i o l o g i c a lc o m p o n e n t s ?
