（外国语言学及应用语言学专业论文）英汉科普语篇中的主位推进模式对比研究.pdf

硕士学位论文 m a s 宵e r s r h e s l s 摘要 本文以韩礼德的主位理论以及捷克语言学家丹尼斯提出的主位推进模式为理 论框架，通过中英对比研究，旨在了解：英汉科普语篇中的主位推进模式选择的异 同，造成这些相似和差异的潜在因素。 基于国内外学者提出的各种主位推进模式，本文根据科普语篇自身的特点，提 出了六种主位推进模式作为分析模式，其中包括：平行型、延续型、集中型、交叉 型、派生型和无规则型。本文研究语料由l o 个汉语科普语篇和1 0 个英语科普语篇 组成。汉语语篇选自科普读物世界之最；英语语篇选自科普文集& l p 聊p 口耐 t e c h o l o 斟d i g e s t o 研究结果主要包括以下四个方面： 1 平行型和延续型是中英科普语篇采用最多的主位推进模式。英语科普语篇中 六种模式使用频率的顺序为：平行型 延续型 集中型 交叉型 派生型 无规则 型；汉语科普语篇中顺序为：延续型 平行型 交叉型 集中型 无规则型 派生 型； 2 在缺省主位的使用上，汉语科普语篇要多于英语语篇； 3 汉语科普语篇中使用频率最高的是延续型模式，而英语则是平行型模式；英 语科普语篇中集中型模式的比例高于交叉型模式，而汉语科普语篇则恰好相反； 4 汉语科普语篇中的无规则模式的使用频率远高于英语科普语篇。 可以从交际功能，语言特征以及思维模式三个方面对造成相似和差异的原因进 行分析。 一、科普语篇主要功能是就某一主题提供相关信息。因此描述多采用平行型模 式和延续型模式，这是造成相似的主要原因； 二、汉语是一种意合语言，结构灵活，句子较为松散，主语可以省略，但不影 响意思的表达，这就决定了汉语语篇中缺省主位的出现频率要高于英语语篇； 三、中国人是螺旋式思维，重意象，轻逻辑，而西方人是线性思维，着重于
