摘要 阅读是二语习得过程中不可缺少的基本技能之一，是二语学习者接触外语、 吸收语言材料、获取感性认识的最重要的途径之一。实践证明，大量的阅读可以 使学生巩固、扩大词汇量，拓展语言、文化知识，增强英语语感和逻辑思维能力， 从而促进听、说、写、译等其他语言技能的提高。因此，长期以来，阅读成为英 语教学和研究的核心和重点。而阅读是认知构建的心理语言过程。那么，学习者 的认知风格不同，就会对同样的知识从不同角度进行编码，形成不同的认知图示， 进一步影响其阅读信息接收速度和准确程度。同时，不同的认知方式必然使学习 者在阅读过程中倾向采用不同的策略，从而产生不同的阅读效果。可见，认知风 格在一定程度上影响到阅读理解能力。本论文旨在探讨中国成人英语学习者场认 知风格与阅读能力之间的相关关系，通过采用镶嵌图形测验、阅读理解测试和阅 读策略问卷对上海师范大学继续教育学院的1 0 0 名非英语专业学生进行调查，得 出相关数据，进而采用s p s s 统计软件，通过运用相关分析和t 检验方法对数据进 行定量分析，试图揭示认知风格是否通过阅读策略的作用对阅读理解能力产生影 响。研究结果显示场认知方式与阅读理解能力几乎不相关，但是不同程度的场认 知学习者在二语阅读过程中具有采用不同策略的微弱倾向，从而可能产生不同层 次的阅读理解能力。根据以上发现，本文对阅读教学提出以下尝试性建议：( 1 ) 教师应该帮助学生认识不同认知风格的优劣，从而能够在阅读过程中通过优化认 知风格提高阅读能力；( 2 ) 对于初级水平的成人英语阅读者，教师应当更加关 注词汇、语法等语言知识能力方面的培养，阅读策略训练可以作为辅助手段；( 3 ) 教师应当引导学生在优化认知风格过程中树立元认知意识。 关键词：认知风格，场独立依存，阅读策略，阅读理解能力，相关分析 -
