大连理工大学硕士学位论文 _ h 十p ，d 十 摘要 随着中国旅游业的迅速发展，相应的旅游宣传也日渐增多。旅游翻泽文本作为外国 旅游者了解中国的重要手段，其翻译质量至关重要。旅游文本的翻译不只是两种语言之 间的转换，而是一种跨文化的交际活动，英汉两种语言分别属于不同的语言系统，有着 各自不同的特性。在翻译过程中常常难以在一种语言中找到另一语言相对应的文化负载 词，有时甚至根本找不到。文化负载词是具有民族文化色彩的词语，也是一个民族语言 系统中最直接最敏感地反映该民族历史文化和民情民俗的语言层面。而目自f 旅游文本的 翻译研究在中国还是一个比较新的话题，近年来主要是结合最新语言学研究的成果来对 旅游资料进行跨文化对比分析或题材分析，但大多数只是翻译实践的总结，缺乏系统理 论的指导，对旅游文本翻译中的难点文化负载词的翻译研究尤为如此。本文将从一 个新的理论角度符号学的视角对旅游文本中文化负载词的翻译进行探索性研究。符 号学翻译观的核心是符号意义观，即符号的指称意义、言内意义和语用意义的三维关 系，同时符号学翻译理论借鉴了语言功能理论；符号学的翻译标准是意义相符，功能 相似。用符号学指导翻译研究，可以在宏观上把握原文的功能和意义，通过微观的理解 和表达，实现宏观上的整体效果，从而提高翻译水平。作者首先系统介绍并讨论了符号 学翻译观的历史渊源和发展沿革，及符号学翻译法的翻译过程、标准。然后根据符号学 翻译理论的指导，通过引用大量生动的例子，探讨了如何旅游文本中文化负载词语的指 称意义、言内意义以及语用意义三种意义在翻译过程中再现，及其相应的翻译方法和策 略，从而加深了对文化负载词翻译和符号学理论的认识。最后指出旅游文本翻译中存在 的问题、本文研究的局限性和对旅游翻译文本的符号学研究前景的展望。 本文作者试图以符号学为基础，为旅游文本翻译提供一个较全面的理论框架，也许 这种尝试是不成功的，但如果通过此番努力能够使人们对这一理论提出更多更全面的意 见和建议，从而使旅游文本翻译研究更科学化，更具指导性，便心愿足矣。 关键词：符号学；旅游文本翻译：文化负载词毯臣蛰；指称意义；言内意义；语用意义 a s e m i o t i c s t u d y o n c -
