等为代表的西方语言学家发展起来的话语分析方法。 它主要以新 闻报道、政治演说、官方文件等大众语篇和其他非文学语篇作为研究对象，把语 言的社会行为作为分析目的，注重分析语篇生产、传播和接受的生活语境和社会 历史背景，旨在透过表面的语言形式，从语言学、社会学、心理学和传播学的角 度揭示语言和意识形态的关系。批评性话语分析的理论方法主要建立在h a l l i d a y 的系统功能语言学的基础上。鉴于此，本文主要采用f a i r l o u c h 的三维分析模式 和系统功能语法来对美国总统k e n n e d y 的就职演说进行话语分析，以探讨政治语 篇中语言与意识形态之间的关系，展示语篇生产者如何通过语言的选择传播他们 的意志和观点，让人们清楚地看到国家权利如何利用语言来帮助表达其目的。 目前，国内的批评语篇分析语料多为新闻报道。在本文中，作者尝试从批评 语篇分析的视角对较新的语料总统就职演说进行研究分析。本文在h a l l i d a y 的系 统功能语法及f a i r c l o u g h 的三维分析模式基础上，提出了一个理解和分析就职演 说的分析框架，从文本和互文性两个层面对就职演说进行分析。为了说明该分析 框架的工作原理及其有效性，在第一步中，作者以h a l l i d a y 的系统功能语法为工 具，从概念功能、人际功能和语篇功能三个方面对演讲的语言特征进行描述，联 系语篇与语篇生产者之间的关系阐释语篇的生成过程。这一步主要围绕三个问题 进行探讨：语篇的内容是什么? 语篇的参与者是谁以及他们之间有何关系? 语言 在语篇生成过程中起到了什么作用? 最后作者从社会的角度联系相关的社会历 史语境来说明语篇与社会因素的相互关系。 k e n n e d y
