Its under the table.Where are my books? Theyre on the sofa.教学难点To develop the ability of making a conversation.教法导航利用直观教学法让学生学习单词,进行对话;Task-based teaching。学法导航Task-based learning method.教师准备PPT ,some daily things, a picture of a room with many things in it.教学过程Step 1: GreetingsGreet the students as usual.Step 2: RevisionAsk a group of students to show their photos and introduce their families before class.The teacher gives some Yes/No Questions like this:Is this your/his/her mother? Is that your/his/her father? Are these your family?Help them answer correctly.Step 3: Presentation Show a photo of a room, there are lots of daily things in the photo. by asking:“Whats this/that in English?” to introduce the key words: table, bed, bookcase, sofa, chair.The teacher helps the students pronounce and read these new words fluently and quickly.Encourage students to memorize more new words in class and take a competition in pairs.Step 4: PracticeWork on 1a Match the words with the things in the picture.After the students finished this exercise, the teacher gives Where Questions to encourage students to answer where things are.Where is the backpack? Its under the table.Wheres the baseball? Its in the backpack.Where are the books? Theyre on the sofa.Remind students to pay attention to the key words: where, wheres=where is, wherere= where are, theyre=they are, its=it is.The students put some school things in the schoolbag/on the desk/under the desk, the teacher guides them to answer Where Questions using in/on/under .Step 5: Work on 1b Listening practiceAsk students to listen and number the things 1-4 in the picture while hearing them.If they cant get the answer, the teacher can play the tape for the students twice.Step 6: Work on 1c PairworkMake the students own conversations. Use the words: on, in, under.While the students make their conversations, the teacher goes around the classroom to check what they are doing. If they have difficulties, the teacher can help them.Two pairs go to the blackboard to show their dialogues.Step 7: SummaryLearn to use the Prepositions: in, on, under to talk about where things are.in the schoolbag, in the pencil case ,in the draweron the table, on the sofa, on the chairunder the bed ,under the tableLearn to ask where things are:WheresNoun(Single)?
