Develop students reading ability.2. Let students know how to stop smoking.教学方法: Discussion,cooperative learning and oral practice教学过程:Step 1 Greetings Greet the whole class as usual.Step2 Lead-in Ask students the following questions and give them my answers to arouse their curiosity and interest. Are you rich? Are you healthy? Proverbs: Health is wealth. He who has health has hope, and he who has hope has everything. 拥有健康,就拥有希望;拥有希望,就拥有一切。 Step 3 Warming up (1) Show students some pictures and ask them which are healthy activities and which are unhealthy activities and draw a conclusion-A truly healthy person should be healthy in both body and mind. (2) Ask the students:Are you a smoker? Can you list any harmful effects of smoking?Step 4 Reading Comprehension(1). Go through the first two paragraphs and the last one to find out the following. 1.
