登陆21世纪教育 助您教考全无忧 Unit 5 Do you wan to watch a game show? 教案教学内容分析本单元的中心话题是“发表意见”,具体涉及电视节目,时尚流行,以及学生围绕电视节目和时尚饰品谈论不同程度的喜好,并发表见解。语言技能和语言知识几乎都围绕“发表见解”这一中心话题设计的。教材内容从基本语言知识到语言综合运用层层递进,听说读写依次展开,以一种循序渐进的学习程序,引导学生在做事中有目的的学习语言。学情分析1. 学生在学习本单元之前,已经学习了关于对Movies , animals , weekends等话题表达个人的意见和看法,因此本单元是前面的延伸和扩展。学生对特殊疑问句 What do you think of 已经能基本运用,因而教学从谈论这些话题引入,附合学生的认知水平。2.初中学生正处于青春发育期,他们思维活跃,容易接受新鲜事物,对周围发生的事感到好奇,因而老师布置与学生生活密切相关的任务时,学生就会积极参与,乐于合作,共同完成任务 。教学目标 新课程标准之基础教育阶段英语课程的总体目标是培养学生综合语言运用能力,而这种语言运用能力的形式是建立在语言知识、语言技能、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识的整体发展基础上的,根据本单元教学内容和学生知识结构及认知特点,本单元的教学目标确定为:1. 语言知识目标:1) 能掌握以下单词:sitcom, news, soap, educational, plan, hope, find out, discussion, stand, happen, may, expect 能掌握以下句型: What do you want to watch? What do you think of talk shows? I cant stand them. I dont mind them. I like/love them. / I dont like them. 2) 能了解以下语法: 动词不定式结构做动词的宾语;后面接动词不定式做宾语的动词。3)学会陈述自己的看法;学会谈论自己的喜好。2.语言技能目标听:能捕捉特定信息,抓住关键词(如cant stand , dont mind 等)说:能熟练掌握与话题相关的常用词汇与表达如:如何用英语来表达自己对事物的不同意见,如何表达自己对 事物不同程度的喜好,使学生能就话题较好的完成一些开放 性话题,以提高在真实语境中的英语交际能力读:获取关于电视节目和时尚饰品的相关信息,且进行一些阅读技能的训练,如训练学生通过阅读搜索信息和获取main idea的能力,同时也培养学生能够学会欣赏文章中的优美句子,并为我所用写:教材要求学生根据西方老太太对生活的态度,对时尚的追求写一篇自己看法的作文。考虑到学生个体差异的存在,遵循分层教学的原则,让学生自由选择话题, 可以模仿课本范文,也可以 自由发挥,写一篇关于校园流行调查报告。 3.学习策略目标:学生能在一定程度上形成自主学习、有效交际、用英语思维和发表意见的能力,以及搜索、筛选信息的能力。如:培养学生使用报纸、网络查阅各类电视节目、搜索自己喜爱的相关节目的资料,包括主持人、图片、电视海报及相关视频片段;同时让学生通过在班级里对中央电视台各类电视节目的收视率展开调查等活动,使学生在做中学英语。 在教师的引导下, 通过观察、发现和归纳等方式,掌握语言的规律,形成有效的学习策略,通过交流与合作发展交流与合作的能力。4. 情感态度目标1)让学生了解各类电视节目,引导学生有筛选性的收看各类电视节目。2)引导学生用得体的语言表达不同程度的喜好,培养发表不同见解的能力。3)通过本单元学习,让学生认识时尚,理解时尚,不盲目追随时尚。4) 通过学习, 具有明辨别是非的能力.5)通过小组合作、调查等活动来培养学生合作与共享的学习习惯。5. 文化意识目标(1)中西方文化中在表达自己的观点时存在很大的差异 我们比较委婉,而西方人则更直接些。(2)通过学生自主学习,让学生了解中西方老人的不同生活态度。教学重点和难点教学重点1.掌握词汇:soap opera, sports show ,sitcom, game show , dont mind , cant stand , wallet ,scarf , belt , key ring 2. 功能 (1)学生能够谈论表达不同程度的喜好,并学习如何发表自己的见解,倾听并转诉他人对人、事的态度和看法,并能运用已有的语言知识简单阐明理由。(2)What do you think of.?句式在不同人称中的使用及其几种不同的答语方式.(3)掌握运用love, like, dont like, cant stand, dont mind 恰当表达对有关事物的观点和态度.教学难点:掌握运用love, like, dont like, cant stand, dont mind 恰当表达对有关事物的观点和态度关键:创设情景,激发学习兴趣,充分调动其非智力因素。 教学方法 1.进行任务型教学, 让学生在体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的过程中,不断探究,丰富知识,形成完整的知识体系,学会运用所学语言知识,去解决实际生活中可能遇到的问题。学会用英语思考,用英语做事,为今后终身学习和发展奠定扎实的基础。 2.创设情景,为学生提供真实或半真实的学习情景,促进学生积极参与教学。3.运用多媒进行辅助教学,能够更直观、生动、有效地组织课堂教学。 2.学习策略(1)养成良好的学习习惯,眼、耳、口、手、脑并用。(2)积极参与活动, 大胆发言,通过表演、猜词、记忆等一系列比赛,巩固所学语言知识。((3)在与同学合作, 努力完成各项任务的过程中, 积极思考, 主动探究, 联系新旧知识,形成完整的知识体系。. 课时安排及教学内容Period 1 Section A 1a-2dPeriod 2 Section A Grammar focus & 3a-3cPeriod 3 Section B 1Period 4 Section B 3a-3c & Selfcheck教学过程设计 第一课时( Section A 1a-2d)Teaching steps Step1 warming up and T: Do you like movies? Then explain the meaning of each expression to the Ss. 2. Let Ss read the conversation after the teacher. Then let Ss make their own conversation using the shows and expressions in the box. 3. Let some pairs ask and answer about the shows. Step 7 Listening Work on 2a: 1. Read the shows in the box of 2a. Tell Ss to remember the information. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and number the TV shows 1-5. 3. Play the recording again to check the answers. Work on 2b: 1. Let Ss read the sentences below. Explain some main sentences for the Ss. Make sure they know what to do. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to write the correct words in the blanks. 3. Play the recording again to check the answers. Step 8 Pair work 21. Tell Ss ask and answer questions about the TV shows in 2a. They can use the information that is true for them. 2. Let Ss read conversation after the teacher. 3. Explain some main points for the Ss. 4. Ss act the conversation in pairs. Ask some pairs to act out their conversations. Step 9 Role-play 2 1. Why do you like watching the news?1) like sb. / sth. 2)like doing sth.喜欢做(经常性,习惯性)3) like to do sth. 喜欢做(偶尔)2. I dont mind them. 我不介意它们。 mind 介意; 在乎。表示请求或是征求意见时后接名词, 动名词或代词。多用以下 句型:Would you mind doing? Do you mind ? e.g. Would you mind opening the door? Do you mind my dog?3. I cant stand it! 我不能忍受它! stand 忍受 (多用于否定句、疑问句) 常与 cant 连用。Stand 后接名词、代词、 动名词。例如: 1)I cant stand soap operas. 2)Jim cant stand his mother any more. 3)All of us cant stand waiting for the bus too long.4. How about you? 你呢? How about 后面除了接名词, 代词以外, 还可以接动名词。e.g. How about going for an outing?去郊游怎么样? How about playing soccer?去踢足球怎么样? How about that?怎么样? (表示征求意见, 惊叹等)What do you think of game shows?1) What do you think of .?= how do you like? “你认为怎么样?” 谈论对某事物的喜好程度, 可选择的回答有:I like it./I dont mind it./I dont like it./I cant stand it./I like it very much./I love it./Its beautiful./Theyre fantastic. 2) think “想, 考虑, 思索”(v. 动词) 可以和许多介词搭配, 组成新的意思。think of “考虑”; “有的看法”, 有时等同于think about. e.g. What does he think of Beijing Opera?他对京剧有什么看法? My mother always thinks of everything!我妈妈总是想到所有的东西。Step 3 Finish 31. Tell Ss to listen and circle the description words you hear in the box in 1a. 2. Play the recording for the Ss. Ss just listen for the first time. Play the recording again and circle the words. 3. Play the recording and check the answers with the Ss. Step 5 Work on 1c: 1. T: Now please look at the chart in 1c. What do John and Mary think of the movies or shows? Youll listen to the tape again.
