unit 7 its raining 教学 目标知识与技能:words:rainy,windy,sunny,snowy,cold-hot,cool-warm,weather,vacation,winter,summer,spring,autumn,have a good time,skate,russian,snowman.过程与方法:先让学生自读单词,发挥榜样示范作用,然后分组讨论,编写对话,达到学以致用的目的。情感态度价值观:通过学生的展示,培养学生热爱生活以及自信、积极、乐观的精神风貌。教学重难点重点:revise the words,expressions and sentence structures of this unit.难点:how to describe the weather in different places and peoples activities.教学方法对自己身边的事情展开调查,既可以复习旧知识又可对所学内容进行升华。学习方法通过反复复习本单元知识,完成练习,达到巩固的目的,保证学生都有所收获。教学准备教师:录音机、课本。学生:预习本单元重点内容,复习现在进行时态。教 学 过 程设计意图theaching aims step 1 warming-up and revision1. greet the class as usual. 2. read all the words we have learned in this unit.step 2.presentation1.after talking about the weather of the map,teacher points to harbin,and asks,“hows the weather in harbin?”students say,“its cold and snowy.”“now kate is in harbin. lets read the letter and fill in the blanks with the words in the box.”2.ask the students to read again.teacher helps them clear all the new words:skating,russian,snowman. then talk about the activitics people are doing and hows the weather there.3.writing practise.students can choose 3b or 3c to write a short passage about their vacation with these questions:where are you?whats the weather like?what are you doing right now?what are you friends or family doing?are you having a good time?step 3 groupwork1. in groups,finish self check1:add more words in each box.2. ask students finish self check 2,and then have a role-play.3. summary:telephone sentences,such as “this is.speaking.may i speak to.?can i take a message?”4. finish self check 3:put the sentences in order to make a conversation.then write their own conversation and have a role-play with their partner.step 4 extension show pictures of the nature disasters:sandstorm,typhoon and tsunami.tell students,“if we have such natural disasters,we could not enjoy the lives any longer.but what can we do with this?”collect any possible answers from students.e.g:we should plant more trees.we should protect the environment.we should save energy.the teacher encourages the students to care the weather condition of the world.step 5 summary1. ask two students to say how to talk about the weather.and make a short conversation about it.2. ask two students to say what is the prensent progressive tense,and how to use it.make a short convesation about this.step 5 homework 给学生把祈使句总结出来,便于学生理解记忆。 让学生自己先独立完成3a部分,在没有问题的情况下完成3b部分。再仿写文章。检测学生掌握情况。 板书 设计 unit 7 its raining! section b(3a-self check) 3a: snowy, windy; buying, playing, skating, talking self check 2: a:hello? jenny speaking. b: hi, jenny. its steve here. may i speak to lucy, please?a:so
