This unit is mainly talk about recent event and experience. The students will learn to use Present perfect tense with already and yet correctly. This period Section A Grammar FocusSection B (1a1d) is the third period of this unit. It focuses on talk about music. And when students talk about the music, they may use pop music , rock music . country music, folk and so on., Teaching Objectives(Knowledge, Ability and Moral) 1. Knowledge objectivesa. Be able to use the target language when they talk about recent event and experience.b. Be able to know how to use already and yet in Present perfect tense.2. Ability objectives a. To improve students listening, sequencing, cooperating and writing skills.b. Arousing students interest and helping them talk about by using pictures.c. Building their confidence by step by step approach.3.Moral objectivesKnowing that its important to enjoy life.Analysis of Learners Students is from Junior Grade 8 in No 11 Middle School.Students are active and full of curiosity.Students have the experience of learning English more than three years. Then ask students to work in pairs and make their own dialogues. Look at the examples that the teacher gives and make their own dialogue.Making a dialogue with one of the students to reduce their anxiety.Learning practiceLearning activity 4a and 4b, Then check the answers.Ask students to finish the activities 4a and 4b and try to check the answers.Improve the students reading skills . Pair work Ask students to make conversations in pairs.Students can express their own experience using the language they learned. Improve students speaking skill.Listening practice Ask students to listen to the tape and finish the task 1b and 1c and do the listening practice. Students listen and check the answers and then show us their ideas.When they are listening ,they can practice using the target language they have leant.Pair workLet students practice the conversation of 1b and 1c in pairs. They can practice the listening part in pairs.This is the good time to help students to know the structure. SurveyAsk students to do a survey by asking friends what kind of music they listen to and why.Students will show their experience.Let students not only learn the knowledge but also know what we can speak in the daily life. Summary Evaluate the students work Ask student to review what we have learned today.Students finish practicing the target language. Let them master what they have learned .Homework Write a report using the information about your friends.Students review what they have learned. And finish the short passage.By finishing the homework students can remember what they have learned deeply.
