USB2.0 Droop Test Working Instruction TEST LAB: FOXCONN ADC LAB TEST FEE TIME: 0.5 Hours. TEST CONFIGURATION: Test Instrument: TDS6604 Digital Storage Oscilloscope Test Tools: One 5G P7350 or P6248 Differential Test Fixture: TDSUSBF USB2.0 Compliance Test Fixture Without Power Adapter Equipment Under Test (EUT) Configuration: per actual test requirement on USB2.0 Test Fixture Test Program: TDSUSB2.0 Test Package ApplicationTEST CONDITION: All of the host PCs USB ports can be used normally under operation system of Windows 2000. OPERATION STEPs: Oscilloscope must Warm up 20 minutes at least then diagnostic itself and calibrate the Probes To set up the equipment for high speed signal quality test, follow these steps: 1. Dont connect Fixture Adapter , connect the standard 5 meter length of USB cable betweenthe Test Fixture Host SQ port and Differential Probe to 6640 SCOP Ch1 and host port asabove diagram. 2. Run ElectricalTestTool.EXE (0-0) on host PC and then select HOST Controller/ System (0-1) press TEST (0-2) . 3. Select Port Control TEST_PACKET (0-3), Port 1(0-4, if you connect host port 2, then choose port2, and so on), press EXECUTE (0-5).4. RUN TDSUSB2 Application from Scope ( 1-1,1-2,1-3), select High Speed tab (2-1), and then select the tests (2-2) -(1) eye diagram (2) signal rate (3) Rise time (4) Fall time (5) EOP width (6) monotonic 5. Modify report ID and description (2-3 , 2-4) 6. Press Configure(2-5),select Tier 6(3-1, 3-2),Down-Stream(3-3),and Near End(3-4). 7. Press the Source tab (4-1) and select Input Channel (4-2) 8. Run the application by pressing RUN icon (4-3), and the application automatically display the diagram and Waveform Plot of the signal acquired from the EUT (5-1), Press OK get Result Summary (6-1) . 9.
