Minimum design temperatures, -20C (-4F) and above. All Kelly sizes.The equipment shall be in conformance with the requirements of API Spec.7-1, API Spec 7-2, ISO 10407 and the requirements of this NS-1. If in conflict the requirements of this NS-1 shall prevail.Design verification, approval and other design related parameters are specifically excluded from this NS-1.范围本通用NS-1规范详细规定了用于制造锻造低合金钢非焊接方钻杆的最低质量和检验要求,包括四方、六方和三方三种类型。适用于:非酸性工作环境最低设计温度-20C (-4F)及以上所有方钻杆尺寸该装备应该符合API Spec 7-1、API Spec 7-2、ISO 10407及本规范的要求。如发生冲突,应以本NS-1的规范要求为准。设计确认、批准和其他相关参数的设计除外。SUPPLEMENTARY REQUIREMENTSThe following requirements are supplementary to, and shall be applied in conjunction with, the Quality Sub- Specifications of this NS-1:1.WELDING1.1 No fabrication or repair welding shall be performed.2. THREADED CONNECTIONS2.1 The thread roots of all API rotary connections NC38 and larger shall be cold rolled after final machining.2.2 All API rotary pin connections NC38 and larger, shall be provided with a stress relief groove to API Spec. 7-2 latest revision.补充要求下列要求为补充要求,连同本NS-1规范清单列出质量子规范一并应用。1. 焊接1.1不进行制造焊接或修理焊接。2. 螺纹连接2.1所有API标准的NC38及更大尺寸的旋转连接的螺纹根部在最终机械加工结束后都应进行冷滾压。2.2 所有API标准的NC38及更大尺寸的旋转连接的外螺纹都应按照API Spec 7-2最新版提供应力释放槽。2.3 All box connections NC38 and larger shall be provided with a stress relief feature which may be either external or internal (e.g. API style, Drilco style, bore-back).2.4 All stress relief features shall be cold worked after final machining. All connections which have been cold worked shall be marked by stamping the connection with a circle enclosing the letters CW as specified in API Spec. 7-2 latest revision.2.5 All new rotary connections shall be provided with a benchmark (this does not apply to pin connections having a stress relief groove) in accordance with the requirements of ISO 10407, latest revision as a minimum. The preferred form of the benchmark is an indicator which provides a 360 reference around the connection. This type of benchmark is superior to the API one, in that it reveals not only the extent of refacing but also how perpendicular the refaced seal is to the pipes axis.Note: Various manufacturers can provide the preferred 360 benchmark form. MATERIAL TESTING (Ref. Sub-Spec. 10.1 & Sub-Spec. 10.4)3.1 Chemical AnalysisChemical analysis shall be carried out on a heat basis demonstrating conformance to the manufacturers applicable material specification for all elements tabulated.3.2 Tensile TestingTensile testing to ASTM A370 shall as a minimum, establish yield strength, tensile strength, elongation and reduction in area on a heat/heat treatment lot basis.Test specimens shall be taken from a location representative of the pin connection as shown in Appendix 2.3.材料试验 (参考子规范10.1和子规范10.4)3.1 化学分析化学成分分析应按炉取样,应包括制造商适用的材料证明中列出的所有元素。3.2 拉伸试验拉伸试验要满足ASTM A370的最低要求,每一炉号或热处理批号都要检测屈服强度、拉伸强度、伸长率和断面收缩率。试样应该按照附录2所示的外螺纹接头的规定位置取得。3.3 Impact Testing (Ref. Sub-Spec. 150.1)The Charpy V notch energy level shall be 42 joules (31 ft.lbs.) minimum average of three testspecimens at a test temperature of -20C (-4F). No individual value shall be less than 32 joules (24 ft.lbs.).Three longitudinal impact test specimens per heat/heat treatment lot of material shall be taken from at least one (1) inch below the O.D. surface of the material.3.4 Hardness Testing (Ref. Sub-Spec. 70.1)Through thickness hardness verification shall be carried out on the wrought kelly material, applying the sampling basis indicated below. Measurements shall be taken at room temperature on a radial cross section as indicated in Appendix 1.Pre-heat treated bar stock or mechanical tubing shall have a test specimen taken at a location of maximum wall thickness at least one radius from the end of each bar/tube.3.3 冲击试验 (参考子规范150.1)在-20C (-4F)的试验温度下三组试样的夏比V形槽冲击功的最小平均值应达到42焦耳(31ft.lbf.)。不允许有单个数值低于32焦耳(24ft.lbf.)。材料的每一炉号或热处理批号的三组纵向冲击试验试样应该取自材料表面外径下面至少1英寸的位置。3.4 硬度试验 (参考子规范70.1)对于锻造方钻杆的材料应该进行全壁厚的硬度验证,采用下面显示的抽样方法。在室温下按照附录1显示在径向横截面上进行。预热处理的棒料和机械加工的管材,至少有一个试样取自每个棒料或管材端面半径上。When kellys are rough machined (O.D. and I.D.) prior to final heat treatment, hardness tests shall be carried out on a heat/heat treatment lot basis using a test sample of similar O.D. and I.D. dimensions (taken at a location of max. wall thickness of a rough machined body). The length of the test sample shall be at least equal to the sample O.D. the cross section specimen shall be taken at mid length.All hardness test results taken on a single cross section shall be within a range of 6 HRC points, with no single value below 30 HRC (285 BHN). DIMENSIONAL INSPECTION (Ref. Sub-Spec. 90.1)4.1 Kelly bore eccentricity measurements shall be carried out by means of Ultrasonic Examination performed to the manufacturers documented procedures, which shall include the following as a minimum:i. The bore of each kelly shall be inspected for eccentricity by taking wall thickness measurements along the entire drive section at 2 m (+ 6) intervals.ii. Variation of wall thickness measured on all the flats (3-triangular, 4-square or 6-hexagonal) of any cross section shall not exceed 20%.iii. When boring of the kelly bar is carried out from both ends, the match point shall be located and checked for eccentricity. The variation in wall thickness across the step shall not exceed 1.6 mm (1/16). Steps within the above acceptance criteria shall be dressed to blend smoothly with the bore.v. The bore at each upset end shall be concentric with the centreline, eccentricity shall not exceed 1.6 mm (1/16).vi. Straightness of kellies shall be in accordance with API Spec. 7-1, latest revision. Deflections of up to 10 mm in 2500 mm (1/2 in 10) may be corrected by cold pressed straightening with stress relieving at manufacturers option.vii. FUNCTIONAL TESTING (Ref. Sub-Spec. 130.1)5.1 Functional testing shall be carried out to the manufacturers specifications but shall include the following steps as a minimum:i. The bore of each kelly shall be drift tested as per API Spec. 7-1, latest revision.ii. The drive section of each kelly shall be gauged in accordance with API Spec. 7-1, latest revision.5. 功能试验 (参考:子规范130.1)5.1 功能试验应该按照制造商的规范进行,但至少应该包括下述几个步骤:i. 每支方钻杆的内孔都应该按照API Spec 7-1最新版本的要求进行通径试验。ii. 每支方钻杆的驱动部分都应该按照API Spec 7-1最新版本的要求进行测量。6. MARKING (Ref. Sub-Spec. 20.3)6.1 In addition to the marking requirements of API Spec. 7-1, latest revision (upper kelly valves) and (lower kelly valves), each assembly shall be provided with a marking recess located on the OD of the main body member at middle of the kelly valve.
