双方必须进 行协商 淡判 淡判是商业领域里非常频繁而重要的一项活动 是双方或多方为 了达成互利的协议而就共同和冲突的利益进行讨论 磋商的 个过程 随着科技的发展 发达的通讯和便利的交通给不同国家与地位的商人带来了 比以往更多的交流机会 各国各公司之 1 j j 的商业合作的机会急剧增加 不同国家 的谈判者在同一张谈判桌上就共同和冲突的利益进行协商 同时 他们也带来了 不同的文化 文化是影响谈判的重要因素之一 文化决定人的价值观 宗教信仰 从而影响人的思想和行为 因此 不同文化背景的谈判者运用不同的方式 策略 进行谈判 文化的差异必然会引起文化冲突 尤其对于东西方的谈判者来浼 谈 判的成功与否大多可以用文化因素来解释 因此 要想取得有效的谈判 谈判者 不仅要了解对手的文化及与己的文化差异 更重要的是应该了解文化因素如何影 响谈判 这样 有助于谈判者预见谈判的进程 及时调整谈判策略 最终达成圆 满的协议 可见 这一课题的研究顺应时代的发展 具有积极的现实意义 对于文化因素如何影响谈判这一课题 国外的学者已进行了一定的研究 不 过也是最近几十年开展起来的 但它的发展是迅速的 七十年代中期 德斯特勒 科莱普等学者对历史上美日谈判中因文化差异而产生不同结果进行了研究 在这 领域做出重大贡献的费舍尔在其经典之作 图际谈判 中指出 谈判双方的文 化差异越大 产生误解的可能性也越大 八十年代到九十年代后期 文化与淡判 的研究得到进一步加强 如科恩的 跨文化谈判 国际外交中的交际障碍 进一 步探讨了文化因素在谈判中的影响 二十一世纪之初 这方厩的专著已不断增多 国外的研究己从文化是影响谈判的因素发展到文化如何影响谈判及影响的程度 然而 国内这方面的研究起步较晚 专著很少 也只停留在文化差异的围别比较 和列举方面 或只单纯地探讨商务谈判原则 策略等 随着中国的入世 中国与西方国家的经济合作 谈判的机会日益增加 国内 学者也更加关注文化因素在谈判中的作用这一方面的研究 因此 本文的研究具 有一定的现实意义 希望能对中国的谈判者有所帮助 作者在前人研究的基础上 试图对文化因素如何影响谈判做积极探讨 研究 范围基于文化差异对东西方商务谈判的影响 以美国和中国 日本的谈判案例为 主 原因有二 一是东西两种文化差异迥然 借鉴价值大 二是美日是世界经济
