unit 5 wild animals study skills【本课目标】1.掌握动词、形容词通过添加-ing,-ness,-ion后缀变成名词。2.正确地使用-ing,-ness,-ion后缀。 【本课重点】:学会使用后缀-ing、-ness和-ion来构成【课前预习】听读p65的单词。i. 翻译:1. 疾病_ 2.接受,收受_ii. 用单词的适当形式填空:1. lets have a _(discuss) on how to protect the animals.2. i dont know the _(mean) of the word.3. the room is in _(dark). we cant see clearly.4. the old man died because of his _(sick).5. we hope he can accept our _(invite).iii. 根据所给汉语补全下列句子:1. 狼能跑很长时间而不停下来。 wolves can run for a long time _ _.2. 野生动物将有越来越少的生存空间。 the wild will have _ _ _ living areas.3. 我们不应该再买毛皮大衣。 we shouldnt buy fur coats _ _.4. 人们杀狼因为他们认为狼对人类是危险的。 people kill wolves because they think wolves are _ _ _.5. 我写信是想告诉你们关于一些处在危险中的动物。 im writing to tell you about some wild animals _ _.【教学步骤】:step 1 presentation1. 通过复习reading部分导入:we all know giant pandas like eating bamboo. but when theyre born, what do they eat?引导学生回答:in the beginning, they drink their mothers milk. at six months old, they begin to eat bamboo.2. 板书begin和beginning这两个单词,引导学生观察两者词形上的变化,并总结:begin+ningbeginning.3. 采用“头脑风暴法”让学生说出已学单词中有这种词形变化的单词。如:feeling, meeting, meaning, painting, hunting.shopping, swimming, jogging4. 有时形容词加上后缀可变成名词,如:ill-illness, kind-kindness, sick-sickness5. 有些动词是通过加后缀-ion来变成名词的,如:act-action, invent-invention6. 有时候需要改变一个动词或形容词的末端,再加后缀,如:happy-y+i+ness=happiness, invite-e+a+tion=invitation7语法要点:-ness后缀:一般形容词变成名词,后缀是加-ness(如:weakness、happiness等)或-ity(如:stupidity, similarity等)。-ness, 表示性质,状态,程度e. g. rich-richness ,kind-kindness,ugly-ugliness ,sick-sickness, ill - illness, sad- sadness, happy-happiness, busy-business, blind - blindness, polite-politeness, tired-tiredness, tidy - tidiness, careless-carelessness, good-goodness, dark - darkness, friendly-friendliness2.ion后缀:而动词变成名词,后缀是加-ion,-ing或-ment。-ion, 表示行为的过程,结果,状况 action, solution, conclusion, destruction, expression, correction ;-ment, 表示行为,状态,过程,手段及其结果 treatment, movement。e. g. collect- collection, organize- organization, celebrate-celebration, pollute-pollution, protect- protection, invite-invitation, inform-information, invent-invention-ing后缀可以充当名词性成分,比如主语和宾语(既可作动词的宾语也可作介词的宾语teaching is my job.(作主语)i like playing basketball. (作动词的宾语)he is good at playing basketball.
