Unit 3 Clothes (1)一. Teaching content(1,2)1. The words of the clothes: T-shirt, jeans, cap, dress, socks, sweater, shoes, trainers, shirt, skirt and shorts.2. Listen and sing a song; doing the actions to a song.二. Teaching processStep1. Warming upPresent the titleThe teacher points to her clothes and asks about the names of some clothes as: Whats this? T: So today well learn unit 3? (S: clothes) Step2. New content presentation1. Present the words: T-shirt, jeans, cap, dress, socks, sweater(1) The teacher points to her clothes or takes out the pictures of the clothes and the pupils try to read the words.(2) Playing the choosing game: the pupils close their eyes, choose a picture and read it out.2. Present the words: shoes, trainers, shirt, skirt and shorts(1) The pupils try to read and spell the words following the teacher.(2) The pupils read the words one by one.3. They listen to the radio two times and imagine the objects names.4. The pupils listen, read the words and point to the pictures of the words.5. Present the song(1) Introduce the word “kite”. Ask the pupils if they have a kite and what colour it is. (T:Have you got a kite? What colour is it?)(2) Then play the song with the books closed.(3) The teacher points to her sweater and says “My favourite sweater is pink.” Then the pupils can mime to make the similar sentences.(4) Listen to the song again and think about the colous about Tobys clothes. (T: Tobys favourite T-shirt/ swerter/ cap is)(5) The pupils sing the song.Stp3. Home task1. The pupils write the words of the clothes 4 times.2. Instructions: Turn off the alarm clock; get out of bed; put on your T-shirt/ shorts/ socks/ trainers/ cycle helmet;/ open the door;/ Shout: “Oh, no!”二. (S: Clothes)(2) The teacher points to her clothes or use the clothes pictures to review the words of clothes: T-shirt, jeans, cap, dress, socks, sweater, shoes, trainers, shirt, skirt and shorts.(3) The pupils listen to the radio and read the words following the tape.2. Present the song(1) The teacher draws a picture of a kite and asks the pupils to read it. T: Whats this? (S: Its a kite.)(2) The pupils listen to the radio and sing the song following the tape;(3) The pupils sing the song alone.Step2. New content presentation1. The pupils listen to the radio and think about the questions. T: Whats this? (clock/ cycle helmet) 2. Present: “Put on your cycle helmet3. Explain “put on”; Asking the pupils to make sentences as: Put on your (Teacher says it and the pupils mime the actions.)4. Say & Do Game: Some pupils say the phrases and other pupils mime the actions.5. Listen to the story again, read the instructions and mime the actions.6. The teacher mimes the actions and the pupils say out the instructions in order or in jumped order.7. The pupils listen to the story twice and fill in the numbers in the blanks.8. The pupils read the instructions about the pictures. And try to mime the actions9. All the pupils read the instructions themselves.Step3. Home task1. The pupils write the instructions two times.2. Listening to the radio and asking the pupils to do the exercises- Filling the names in the four blanks.4. Checking the answers and telling the pupils how to make sentences.5. Teacher can make sentences as: is wearing a Then asking some pupils to make the same sentences.6. Learning the words: “right/ wrong”. Then the pupils do the exercises to choose right or wrong according to the pictures. The pupils read out the sentences.Step3. Home task1. The pupils mime to write some sentences and read it.2. The teacher points to a pupil in the class and asks some pupils to make sentences.(2) The pupils look at the pictures on P52 and make sentences.(3) The pupils points to their classmates and make sentences.Step2. New content presentation1. Present the poem(1) The teacher mimes the actions about “put on” and asks the pupils what she does. (T: What am I doing? S: Put on) Then the teacher should explain the meaning of “put on”.(2) Guess Game: One pupil makes an action and other pupils guess what she/he does. (S: Put on your jeans)(3) The teacher sticks the pictures- jeans/ T-shirt/ socks/ shoes on the board. And the teacher writes “P O Y” before it. All the pupils can read it.(4) The teacher draws a door and a man on the board. It looks like the man run out of the door. And the teacher mimes the action and says: “one, two, three, four. Run out of the door”. The pupils should repeat the phrases. (5) The pupils listen to the radio three times. All the pupils read the phrases on the board following the tape. Then the pupils can read the poem individually.2. Play the game in class(1) First the teacher and a pupil play the game in the front of the class for pupils. (Standing back to back; pupil A asks the pupil B “What am I wearing?” The pupil B has to describe the clothing and the colour of the clothing of the pupils A.)(2) Playing the game twice. Then teaching the sentences “What am I doing? I think” The pupils read and remember the sentences several times.(3) Two pupils play the game in the front of the class.Step3. Home task1. The pupils write the poem on their notebook.2. The pupils should listen and read the poem; play the game out of class.七. Dynamic prepare lessonUnit 3 Clothes (5)一. Teaching content (8,9)1.
