活力课堂教学设计江苏省丹阳市实验学校 212300 姜艳飞课题:8B Unit6 Grammar【教学目标】1、 技能目标: To help the students grasp the skills of forming the three sentence structures To use the words、phrases and sentences freely To be natural and fluent to talk with others2、 知识目标: Words: donate, charity, organization/organisation, one-to-one/one-on-one, bloodPhrases: give seats to the elderly; help blind people cross the road; donate money to charities; take care of a lost pet;have trouble doing sth.; donate blood to people in needSentences: It is + adjective + to-infinitive; It is + adjective +for sb.+ to-infinitive;It is + adjective +of sb.+ to-infinitive3、情感目标: To help the students have the concept of right and wrong To make the students have a good sense of duty and know the importance of helping others.【教学重点】It is + adjective + to-infinitive; It is + adjective +for sb.+ to-infinitive;It is + adjective +of sb.+ to-infinitive【教学难点】 1、To enable the students to integrate the four skills(listening, speaking, reading and writing) to complete the tasks about TV viewing habits.【教学设计】第一环节:背景设计(Background)Free talk: 1.Say: Im your new teacher, so I would like to know something about you. 2.Ask: Whats your name? What do you often do in your free time? Do you like to help others in your free time? Have you ever been a volunteer?第二环节:导入设计(Lead-in) 1.Say: There are two girls in my class who like to help others.They are Yuanyuan and Duoduo. What do they often do as volunteers? 2.Present:donate,charity,organization/organisation,one-to-one/one-on-one, blood.3. Have a quick test of all the new words.4. Sing the passage out to the music. Yuanyuan and Duoduo, are volunteers.They donate money, to charities.They donate blood, to sick people.Organizations, are very helpful.They help people, one-to-one.Make the world more beautiful. 第三环节:操练设计(Practice)1.Say: We have known they like helping others, but how do they help others?Lets look at their meaningful day. It was on May 4th. 2. Show some pictures about Duoduo and Yuanyuans morning on May 4th. Present the structure: It is + adjective + to-infinitive. It is good to collect the litter. It is proper to clean the public bikes. It is necessary to help classmates with their study. It is wonderful to take care of old people. 3. Work out the rule: We use It is + adjective + to-infinitive to express what we think about something.4. Say: Besides Duoduo and Yuanyuan, there is another girl called Amy, she did a lot on the morning of May the 4th, too. Give more sentences.Present the structure: It is +adjective + for sb.+to-infinitive.5. Use Amy as an example, work out the rule: We can add for someone to express who we are talking about. We can use the following adjectives in this structure: necessary, important, difficult, proper, meaningful, happy, easy, fantastic,wonderful 6. Say: Amy, Duoduo and Yuanyuan did a lot for people, now they have problems, would you like to be volunteers to help them? Do the exercises in pairs(One finishes Paper A and the other finishes Paper B), then exchange the papers and check the answers for partners7. Watch a mini video of Yuanyuan and Duoduo, present the structure: It is + adjective + of sb. to-infinitive.by showing what they did in on the afternoon of May 4th.It is friendly of her to clean the street.It is kind of Amy to take care of a lost pet.It is nice of Yuanyuan to visit the home for the elderly.Work out the rule: We can use It is + adjective + of. + to- infinitive to express what we think of someones actions.We can use the following adjectives in this structure: brave, careless, clever, foolish, generous, good, helpful, honest, kind, nice, polite, silly7. Show some videos, then students try to rearranging words to form sentences.案。第四环节:巩固升华(Consolidation)1.Say: Now we know what they did on the morning and afternoon of May 4th. What did they do that evening? Show a video of Xiao Yueyue, give thm some information.adj. : careless; wrong, right; helpful; unhelpful; important;cruel( 残忍的),warmhearted, meaningful People :Xiao Yueyue; Xiao Yueyues mother; the eighteen people; the last woman,us,the drivers, all the people Students foem their groups freely, practise the following dialogue: Host: What do you think of.Student A: I think it is .Host: What do you think of.Student B: I think it is .Host: What do you think of.Student C: I think it is . .第五环节:诗歌欣赏( A Poem)Say: Now I know your opinions about the sad story, and in my heart, Xiao Yueyue is an angel, she came to the world to see whether we are good or bad, whether we are cruel or warmhearted, whether we are kind or cool!So what if she is an angel? Enjoy a poem.
