专题限时训练(三十四)记叙文型阅读简答(一)(限时:25分钟)1(一)fortythree years seems like a long time to remember the name of a mere acquaintance.i have forgotten the name of an old lady, who was a customer on the paper route in my hometown when i was a twelveyearold boy.yet it dwells in my memory that she taught me a lesson in forgiveness that i shall never forget.on a winter afternoon, a friend and i were throwing stones onto the slanted roof of the old ladys house from a spot near her backyard.the object of our play was to observe how the stones changed to missiles as they rolled to the roofs edge and shot out into the yard like comets(彗星) falling from the sky.i found myself a perfectly smooth rock and threw it out.the stone was too smooth, however, so it slipped from my hand as i let it go and headed straight not for the roof but for a small window on the old ladys back porch.at the sound of fractured glass, we knew we were in trouble.we turnedaround and ran faster than any of our missiles flew off her roof.i was too scared about getting caught that first night to be concerned about the old lady with the broken window in winter.however, a few days later, when i was sure that i hadnt been discovered, i started to feel guilty for her misfortune.she still greeted me with a smile each day when i gave her the paper, but i was no longer able to act comfortable in her presence.i made up my mind that i would save my paper delivery money, and in three weeks i had the seven dollars, which would cover the cost of her window.i put the money in an envelope with a note explaining that i was sorry for breaking her window and hoped that the seven dollars would cover the cost for repairing it.i waited until it was dark, snuck up to the old ladys house, and put the letter i didnt sign through the letter slot in her door.my soul felt redeemed and i could have the freedom of, once again, looking straight into the old ladys kind eyes.the next day, i handed the old lady her paper and was able to return the warm smile that i was receiving from her.she thanked me for the paper and gave me a bag of cookies she had made herself.i thanked her and proceeded to eat the cookies as i continued my route.after several cookies, i felt an envelope and pulled it out of the bag.when i opened the envelope, i was stunned.inside were the seven dollars and a short note that said, “im proud of you.”1how old is the author now? (no more than 3 words)_2what happened to the old ladys house that winter afternoon? (no more than 15 words)_(二)though i dont have much money, i always try to think positively.however, sometimes, i also feel depressed and sad when i think how others have more than me, so i hate thinking about money.when i was younger, i always wondered why money was so important because there wasnt anything i needed.but as everyone gets older, of course that changes.last night, on my way home i stopped by to buy some burgers at a fast food restaurant.on my way in, a homeless man came near me and asked, “do you have any bottles lying around?” i knew he would recycle them for a few cents, but i had none.and again he asked, “can you spare some change?” i smiled and said, “sorry, i dont.” he was respectful, saying, “ok, thank you.” though he didnt have anything, he was still in good spirits.i went in and ate my meal, but i wondered if he was hungry, thinking whether i should buy him something or not.only after i finished my meal, did i decide to order another one for him.at this point i didnt know if he was still around, but i tried anyway.at the counter i ordered a burger and also a hot chocolate, for it was cold outside.as i waited for my burger, i noticed the homeless man standing beside me with a tray full of a few coins.i looked at him and smiled, “this hot chocolate is for you.” he replied like a gentleman, “thank you.thats very kind of you.” no matter how hard your life is, there are always those whose life is harder.and its not always about happiness, but its about love.if you love someone, youll give them what they deserve because the greatest thing you can give is love.1why does the writer hate thinking about money?(no more than 8 words)_2why did the homeless man ask the writer for bottles? (no more than 11 words)_3how did the writer help the homeless man at last? (no more than 10 words)_4in the writers opinion, how should we deal with those homeless persons? (no more than 9 words)_(三)i was born in mississippi in the 1960s.my disabilities were caused by lack of oxygen to my brain.i grew up knowing i was different.the first time i felt hurt was in grade five.the other fourth and fifth graders played together in the gym class, while i was put in the second grade gym class.one day, a famous football player visited the fourth and fifth grade pe.class.all the kids got his autograph except me because i was with the second graders playing games.mom called the school to tell them it wasnt fair, but the school blamed me for complaining too much.in the 1980s, when my mom was delivering her baby, she died.my dad became even more distant.he never asked me if i wanted to talk about her death.i was depressed and began drinking wine to relieve the pain.dad got remarried in 1985.everyone went to the wedding except me; he told me to stay home and watch the house.when my high school ball came around, i wanted to go but wasnt allowed.when i graduated, my dad and stepmom refused to hold a party for me.they put me in a group home after graduation.my life changed when i became a local leader of the national selfadvocacy group.at first, i thought the group wasnt for me, until i found out it was all about empowerment! my goal is to be t
