Follow me! 【教学目标】1、 知识与技能目标:(1).能听、说、认读单词follow,rabbit,carrot,以及注意rabbit carrot中音标的发音。 (2).掌握句型“I have a carrot.”,“Follow me!”“follow pig /duck/rabbit/dog/zip/zoom”的中文意思及用法。(3).能读懂Story time部分的故事,并能了解故事中的主要的知识点。(4).能在游戏活动中熟悉运用所学动物单词,并能用英语介绍这些小动物。(5).复习本单元的主要知识点。2、过程与方法目标: 通过复习这个单元所学的动物单词,激发孩子们去动物园参观的欲望,带领他们参观动物园,导入本课时要学习的动物名称。在语境中练习本课的重点单词及句型“I have a carrot.”,“Follow me!”既培养了学生的观察与思维能力,又为呈现本课知识做好了语言结构的铺垫。3、情感态度与价值观:(1)在课堂教学活动中培养学生在活动中熟悉单词,了解动物,热爱小动物、保护小动物的情感。(2)采用多种游戏与活动相结合,培养学生敢于开口、积极参与的学习态度,激发了学生学习英语的兴趣,启迪了学生的思维。【教学重、难点】一、教学重点:1、能够听说,认读follow,rabbit,carrot四个单词。2、能够在语境中熟练运用句型:“Follow me!”“I have a carrot”.二、教学难点:1、单词rabbit carrot 中音标的发音。2、能理解故事的内容并能自己创造性的改编故事。【教学准备】1、教学课件(PPT,音乐和动画)。2、动物图片和单词卡片:rabbit,pig,duck,dog等。3、各种动物头饰,rabbit toy, 萝卜实物和一些文具用品。【教学过程】Step I Warm-up/ Revision1.利用已学知识创编对话,进行简单互动.2.Sing a song “Rabbit”and dance together.表演完及时给与鼓励。(利用课件播放背景音乐)T: S1, you come here, follow me please. Left, right, left, right, go, go, go.S2, You follow A, follow me. Left, right, left, right, go, go, go.S3, You follow A, follow B, follow me. Left, right, left, right, go, go, go.All the boys and girls, follow me please.(通过歌曲的复习,既可以调动活跃的课堂气氛,同时也可以为接下来故事中出现的follow me句型做了铺垫)Step II Lead-in Divide Ss into four groups.(每个小组分别代表一种动物)if you do very well, you can get a flower for your group.lets see which is the best.Are you ready? Yes.(比赛机制贯穿整个课堂)Step III Presentation 1.Teach new word: carrot.T: Look, I have a bag. Whats in it? Now follow me, please. I have a ruler. Ss: Me too.I have a pencil. Ss: Me too. I have a pencil box. Ss: Me too.I have a crayon. Ss: Me too. I have a carrot. You dont have a carrot! Look,its a carrot. Who likes carrot? Rabbit. Rabbit likes carrot.(通过实物carrot引入新单词及练习,可以检查学生认读单词的能力以及对词语意思的掌握。)2. Review four animals. Try to describe them.1)T: I have a book. Me too.I have a big book. What about you? Its about animals. Look, so many animals in it. Do you know them?Lets open it and see.2) T: First, whats this? Its a cat. It is fat. Is it fat? Its not very fat. Look at this cat. Its really fat.T: Follow the cat is pig. Look at the pig, it is big. Is it big? Its not very big. Look at this pig. Its really very big.T: Follow the pig is monkey. Look at the monkey, it is funny.And follow the monkey is tiger. Look at the tiger, it is?(通过书本中的动物引出如何简单描述动物。)3. Lets act.T: Now boys and girls, show me your hands and fingers. Whats this? Follow me please. Lets do together.(教师借助肢体动作或手影来演绎这些小动物,让学生在游戏中复习表示动物的词语。)4. Story time.1)T: Lets watch video. Look at the cat, it is fat. Look at the pig, it is pig. Look at the monkey, it is funny. Look at the mouse, in my house. Aa2).T: Look, what a beautiful park. Here comes Zoom. He wants to play with the other animals. He says: “Lets play, my friends!” T: Here comes Pig. “Hello, pig, follow me!”T: And next comes Dog. So follow Zoom, follow Pig. T: Next comes Duck. So follow Zoom, follow Pig, follow Dog.T: Here comes Rabbit. SoT: Look, Zip is coming. He has a carrot. What will happen next?3) .Lets watch video!播放story time的动画视频,让学生带着问题(what animals can you see in the video?)去看动画。(通过听音、模仿、小组合作练习等的形式,增进学生对于故事的理解,同时培养学生团队合作的意识。)Step IV Practice: 让孩子们分组练习,然后邀请每组同学角色扮演zoom pig dog duck rabbit zip表演story time中的内容,并及时给与鼓励。Step V ConsolidationT: If here comes Monkey, What will Zip say? S1: I have a banana.T: If here comes Cat, What will Zip say? S2: I have a mouse.T: If here comes Panda, What will Zip say? S3: I have bamboo.T:This time lets choose monkey/cat/panda to make a new dialogue and act it.(通过第二遍演故事,对故事进行创新,引导学生创新思维。)Step VI Summary and homework1. Homework:Read this story three times after class and Tell the story.2. 对获胜的小组进行表扬,并鼓励没获胜
