I only know a little English.How do you say in English?2. Learn the usage of “wh-+to do”.I dont know what to do.I dont know how to say/spell that in English.3. Talk about language learning strategies. 二、 Teaching aids 教具多媒体、录音机三、Teaching methods任务型教学法四、Important and difficult points培养学生通过快速阅读获取有效信息的能力及合作学习的习惯五、Teaching stepsStep 1 Review 1. 检查作业,教师让两名同学复述英式英语和美式英语的发音、拼写和表达方面的不同,巩固上节课所学内容。 Review the last topic.the differences between British English an American English. Though written English is very similar between Britain and America,oral English is quite different. Generally speaking, American English is different from British English in pronunciation, spelling and expression.But people from the two countries do not have much difficulty in understanding each other. 再让学生用which+to do造句。Step 2 Presentation 1. 由多媒体图片导入1a。T:Heres a picture. Now look at the picture.展示1a图片Whos that boy?教师指着图中的王俊锋Ss:He is Wang Junfeng.T:Yes. He is back from the U.S.A. Do you think he had a good trip?Ss:Yes.T:Did he have any difficulties in the U.S.A.?S1:I think so.S2No.T:Now listen to the tape and find out if Wang Junfeng had difficulties. If he met, what difficulties were they?听1a录音,回答问题,然后核对答案。T:Listen to 1a again and find out what troubles Li Ming and Li Xiang have.学生回答,教师重复学生答案并核对。2. 学生自读课文,并找出难于理解的词句。I dare not to speak English in public.At times I feel like giving up.I dont know what to do.讲解并领读3. Pair work让学生根据对话,完成1b。Step 3 Consolidation T: Now, its time to act out the dialog. First, Ill ask a group to come to the blackboard. Are you ready?Ss: Yes. 尽量多找几组同学表演, 了解学生对1a的掌握情况。Step 4 Practice 1. T:Wang Junfeng, Li Ming and Li Xiang have some difficulties in studying English. How can they study English well? Can you help them?S1: They can take part in the English corner. S2: They can copy new words in a notebook.S3: They can keep a diary.S4: They can buy a grammar book.S5: 板书,并要求学生掌握copy, notebook, diary, keep a diary, grammar。2. (听2的录音, 连线, 核对答案。)(两人一组,根据2录音内容, 做对话。)S6: I forget new words easily. S7: You can copy new words in a notebook and take it with you. S6: I cant pronounce well. S7: You can listen to the tape. S6: I am not good at grammar. S7: You can buy a grammar book. S6: I am not good at writing compositions. S7: You can keep a diary. 3. 分组活动。完成3。A: 完成搭配, 教师核对答案。学习并掌握生词repeat,了解beg。掌握repeatFor example: If you cant spell a word in English, you should say I dont know how to spell that in English. B: 教师让两人一组利用A部分的句子对话。For example:S1: Excuse me, could you tell me where the post office is?S2: Im sorry, I cant follow you. Can you speak more slowly?让同学两人一组做更多的对话,加深对特殊疑问词+to do这个语法的运用。4. 以造句形式复习特殊疑问词+to do sth.。For example:(1) Could you tell me where I should to? Could you tell me where to go? (2) I dont know how I learn English well. (3) He doesnt know which one he buys. (4) He is thinking whether he is going abroad or not. (5) I dont know what time they will start.Step 5 Project 1. 学生小组讨论,并向全班汇报。T: Discuss in groups of six and fill out the table. Then report it to your class. You can ask and answer For example:S1: What difficulties do you have in your English study?S2: I dont know how to write compositions well. S3: You need to keep a diary often.教师向学生呈现表格形式,让学生完成表格。T: You can report it to the class like this: Li Leis difficulty is that he doesnt know how to pronounce well, and Wang Juns suggestion is六、 Homework Write a short passage according to the references in the box(1) Do you like English?(2) Have you ever met any difficulties in English study?(3) If you meet some difficulties, whom will you ask for help?(4) Do you think it is important to have a partner in English study? (要求:字数不能少于80字。)七、教学反思本节课主要围绕在英语学习过程中遇到的困难这一话题
