Ability Objects: students will practice listening and speaking abilities and by learning the useful structures.1) To introduce Ss to the unit goal: talk about past experiences.2) To set the scene, increase Ss vocabulary and introduce the target language.3) To give Ss practice in listening for specific information.4) To give Ss practice in using the target language in natural speech.2. Moral Objects: Students should learn how to work with others and help each other, how to express their own ideas during the communication.II. Key points and difficult points:1. How to use the structure “Have you ever been to ?” and how to answer it. 2. Learn about some new words, such as amusement park, science museum and so on. III. Teaching process:Step 1 GreetingStep 2 Leading in 1)Ask and answer some questions between the teacher and the students.T: Where were you yesterday? Have you been to the space museum?Where were you the day before yesterday? Have you been to the amusement park?Where were you on the weekend? Have you been to the water park?2)Ok, today were going to talk about some interesting places we have been to or were going to. 3)Lead to read the new words.T: Look! This is a space museum. Its so interesting, isnt it? Step 3 Presentation1) Presenting some pictures of space museum, history museum, art museum, water park, zoo, amusement park.2)Ask Ss to read and make sentences like this:Have you ever been to a/an ? Yes, I have. / Me, too. / So have I.No, I havent. /Me, neither. / Neither have I. 2) 1a Which of these places would you like to visit? Rank from 1(most) to 6(least)?Rank, ask and answer the question in pairs: Where would you like to go best?Step 3 PracticeStudents look at the pictures and make their own conversations with their partners.A: Have you (ever) been to a/an ?B: Yes, I have. What about you?A: Me, too. / So have I. Step 4 Listening practiceT: Look at the picture. We can see two girls. They are Claudia and Sarah. What do you think they are talking about? Lets listen and find out where they have been. 1) Choose the best answers2) Finish 1b on page 65.Step5. Pair work1) Ask Ss to read together.2) Ask Ss some questions, make sure that they understand the conversation clearly. 3) Then make the students work in pairs. 4) Act out. Step6. Summary T: Today we met so many interesting places. Which place would you like to visit most? Were going to talk about your favorite place next class. Step7.Homework1.
