教学内容 Unit7 Whats the highest mountain in the world? 课时Period1 SectionA1a-1c教学对象八年级学生提供者彭伦珍一、教材内容分析本节课是第七单元的第一课时，这一课时通过“自然地理之最”教学。以及听、说、读、学习用不同句式表达比较级，最高级。并让学生能在“做中学”（learning by doing），通过有限的课堂实践活动，能准确地用英语来表达。二、教学目标（知识，能力，情感态度、价值观）Knowledge Object依据教材的地位及作用，根据课标要求，结合本节课的知识特点，将学习目标定位为：1、知识目标：1）掌握单词及短：square，meter，kilometer, deep, desert 及Qomolangma, the Nile, the Caspian Sea和the Sahara .2）掌握目标语言Whats the est in the world？How is it？ is er than any other in the world . is the est desert/river in the world . is the est of all the.3）Grammar 能够正确、熟练使用比较级和最高级4）Functions 学会使用比较级和最高级描述世界之最。2、能力目标：1）学习表达较大数字和含有小数点的数的表述。2）学会用不同句式表达比较级，最高级。3）学习用度量结构表述地理信息。3、情感态度及价值观目标：引导学生发现大自然的奥秘，让学生更加想要去了解和亲近大自然，激发学生的好奇心和求知欲，并在操练运用中获取成功的体验，进而建立学习英语的自信心。三、重点难点1、教学重点（1）运用目标句型，准确描述世界之最。（2）大数字的读法.（3）长、深、高和面积的表达方式。2、教学难点（1）比较级和最高级的不同表达方式。如：higher than any other mountain, a lot/much/a little bigger than ,almost as big as等。（2）大数字及含有小数点的数的读法。四、教法选择、学法指导教法选择：从学生的学习兴趣，生活实际和认知水平，采用激趣法，直观演示法，口语交际法，视听法，听说法，任务型教学法，运用多媒体让学生积极参与，大胆实践，共同交流与合作。学法指导：自主学习与合作学习相结合，根据已有知识和情景进行学习。五 资源准备多媒体课件、图片等相关教学资源。六、教学过程教学任务教师活动学生活动设计意图及资源准备Task1 Leading-in1.
